I've tidied up right through, some dailies, put the shopping away, WM on and had a coffee break which has gone from 15min sit down to HH
Going to shift myself now into the kitchen to get dishes done and put another load on. Going for a HHC in the kitchen starting in 5 min (got to do something on the computer first while I remember)

:T Well done mummyroys! :j
Still no clients here, so I'm just browsing and finding knitting patterns and silly news reports(It's quite boring really
especially when I've got a long list of things to do at home)

I've managed to wash up and tidy up a bit more in the kitchen. Thats it
DD didn't wash up very well after baking so the majority of the stuff had to go back in the dirty dishes pile. So although last nights tea used 9 items and breakfast <10 (including cutlery!), there is still a huge pile of dishes to be done. I'm hoping I can get them all done in the next batch, but I need to try and remove caramel from my new baking tray as DD didn't put any foil or anything on it before making the chelsea buns, and she has got blue and black icing on just about everything in the kitchen by the looks of it. Yet in school she's one of the cleanest & tidiest of the class and gets asked to help her class mates as they can't get the tables as clean!
Oh well, going to finish my lunch then do HH on the window while the dishes dry off in the drainer:wave:

DW emptied and refilled
My sister came and helped sort through the toys.. 3 binbags for CS and 2 large items, a box of stuff for DS1 and one for DD1 for the grandbeasts. 4 binbags of rubbish.
dressing up all upstairs
Sis took a carrier of school bits, a dvd and spot toy for my nephew and leggings for my niece and the rest of the box got binbagged for CS.
Happyland all boxed to take to Oh's mums.. that'll teach her!! lol.. She was going to buy loads and I said don't bother, we have stacks we will bring you it..
We now need to load up the car with the CS bags so I can fling them on the way to school at 3pm.
I hate toys! The 3 littlies are getting ipads for Christmas, that is all they want to play on anywayAll subsequent Christmases they can have apps, a new stylus and a new case lol...
... (for those with brain disorders, that was a joke, I can't afford that many ipads)
I need to post 2 ebay items and OH has 2 blinds and a curtain pole to put up... lunch for pinks first!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Does everyone manage to get the whole house done in the week? I would love a tidy house
I'd love to say yes, but the reality is at the moment all I can manage is to complete one list fully each week, and I'm only managing that because it's part of my June challenge. This week it will be the bathroom and the shower room. I've also had to send the dy$on off to the repair depot, so *shucks* no vacuumming for me. Big disappointment, obviously.

Huge congratulations! I know just how glorious that feeling is! The thing that still amazes me is knowing just how trepidatious I was when I embarked on mine and how scarey the idea of committing to three (or however many it took) years to doing it and actually finishing it. I hope you have a lovely day, full of feeling as light as a feather - no more looming essay deadlines - Yay!
My computer seems to be under some kind of sustained attack, if Nod's notifications is anything to go by, so I have to keep switching it off. 'Scuse me if I disappear for the rest of the day.
Filing done, yoghurt-making happening, OH decluttered to the station and first WM load in.Better is good enough.0 -
Decided to do a quick 45 minutes in the garden before lunch - Bossy having the challenge is making me do this- on target to finish planting out by the end of June
J666 - do you mean tidy or clean? I can get mine tidy in a week (my youngest is 12 though so that helps) but not often as clean as I would like. Oh and I'm not including DH's office and not often my paperworkThe key is finding a home for as many things as you can. Homeless items make tidying difficult. Valli lies by 'don't put it down, put it away'.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
