Yey! :T lovely avatar, Tea! Well done!

Me want go Edinburgh Zoo! :j

Have a good bodywork session, LIR! Must admit, I could so do with a good remedial massage, but the lovely lady I used to have, she emigrated, and trying to find someone else as good is dire.

Had a fast day yesterday, my first since before Xmas due to illness. It wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be. I have just had a meal! Yum!
Honestly, due to illnesses, (lying in bed for 3 weeks and no Zumba), Christmas, stuffing my face with treats while ill and no fast days, I have ballooned! Really shocked! It has just proved to me the difference the Fast Diet makes. Before, when I had piggy days but was having fast days, I didn't put anything on! Have had to return to a size larger jeans temporarily! I can get into the smaller ones but they're incredibly tight. Am really shocked!

I haven't restarted Zumba yet due to the wheezing, but will tentatively try some tomorrow and see how I get on.

Tea, this is a real Little Blue! They're only about 13" high! Sweeeee!

At AmDram we've all got to audition for a two-tier system, where the top tier will do the bigger, more important stuff, and the lower tier won't perform. Am really nervous that I'll forget my lines! :( Don't really want to not perform, as that's where the fun is!

Still on the penguin theme, (blame WaS! :D ), I'd really like one of these!..........

    I love

  • Oooooooooooo me too!

Welcome back into the 5:2 fold, Pyxis! Yes, I really like being able to eat what I want to on the 'other' days as well, and one of the things I really like about the diet is appreciating food so much more :)

I must admit there's a bit of me that's scared, though. I haven't ever missed a day, and am scared that if I did it would get harder to do, again. It's nice and easy now I'm used to it!

If I don't get a pocket penguin tomorrow I'm going to be so disappointed! :)

I need to get back onto some sort of sensible eating/exercise. It was all going so well.... it is not anymore.... eek!

When I've gone on holiday, I haven't had a Fast Day, but that was only for a week, and the week before the holiday I did 4:3. It was a bit harder getting back to it after the holiday. This was the worst, because of Christmas and illness it went on for a long time. I probably could have restarted last week if I'm honest, but had got into such a pig mode and was in denial! It was only when I started to go out and about and put my jeans on that I really realised what had happened, and that scared me back into restarting.

Still, I've managed the first Fast Day, and it wasn't too bad! Another one tomorrow! I might even do 4:3 this week if I feel strong! Putting the tight jeans on will help! :D

I am officially on strike today but as I am feeling crap I am protesting John Lennon style - from my bed. I have only got up to make toast. Every time I stand up, I feel dizzy.

Does anyone else ever feel like their meds actually make them feel worse than their actual condition?

Also, still in diet rehab and eating loads. I am a fat pie.

  • I did powerplate last night but it just served to reinforce how broken I am after the long weekend of cheerleading and gig...

    Oooooh yes!

    Oh, yes indeed. :)

Sometimes side effects make a drug just unsuitable and its worth chatting to consultant about it. I get on better than most with one of my drugs. For a long time it made all food taste like tobasco or West Indian hot sauce. All spicey food went right off the menu, it was unbearable, And its hard to get a taste for tobasco and toast and marmalade, or tobaso and porridge or tobasco and tea. :D.

It passed, which is good. Water tastes just of water now, :) tea, of tea...and so on. Spicey food intolerance has weirdly, totally diminished, I used to quite like quite spicey food.

An other side common effect I get is that I feel all the time like I'm wading through nettles, and running my hands through them, so as if the nettles are really long. Its worse on my lower legs /feet and hands. Almost but not quite, pins and needles. I've learned to enjoy this experience. Its just been a matter of minds pace. I imagine various things that make it more pleasurable than burdensome. However, I get very, very minor repetitive strain type pain in a couple of fingers /back of hand and some times this kind of annoys that.

Those are the two most common side effects of one of my meds I think, and I'm pleased I've been able to get passed both.

Oh...the other is fatigue. But as I have fatigue anyway, its hard to measure......how can in attribute what is pill and what is illness? Its impossible for me to tell the difference.
