Sometimes you need someone else to point out the obvious good ideas :) Thanks SJ. I'm not short, and often have big heels, but that shelf is soooooo high up!

(Perhaps I should also confess that I am allergic to the 'i' word, and my iron hasn't seen the light of day for a very long time. One way to dry jeans so that they never need ironing is to hang them up by the leg bottoms on 2 clip hangers. Many other things are improved, ironing wise, if they dry with a clip hanger attached to their bottom hem.).
Me me me! I do this, too! Never ever iron and haven't for years. Loathe it. I do have an iron but lent it to my neighbour months ago and she's still got it!

I seem to have loads of clip hangers at the mo, and I need more ordinary ones. This is mainly because I'm addicted to charity shops, and since losing weight, love to go and buy lots of pretty tops, so my hanger mountain is all used up!

Tealover, you can get hanging shelf things made of canvas, which are useful for jumpers. Otherwise, where do you keep all your towels/linens etc! If they are all on more accessible shelves, why not put them on the high shelf and your jumpers on the lower shelves, even if they're in a different room.

Or, sort all the bottom jumble into labelled boxes and put them on the high shelf, then use the bottom of the wardrobe to put a low shelf unit thing in for the jumpers,

  • What's an iron? Is it that strange thing that has lived in the cupboard since we moved here covered in dust and cobwebs?

I have 14 minutes to call a woman about a penguin. Someone kick me please.

Phone woman about a penguin or I'll send Gitdog your way. Then come back and tell us you've done it before I have to try to wrap him up,

  • Can I have Gitdog anyway?

I phoned a woman about penguin! On February 12th at 3.30pm I shall be hand feeding penguins! They shut at 4, it's winter, plus it is a week day and schools are open so it should be very quiet. The feeding is watched through glass in a special tank room so that you can see them diving for the fish so only staff should see me! I have explained about the blanket and they said just arrive at reception at 3.15 and they will drive me to the penguin bit, and then back to reception if I don't want to look around the grounds. I may try if it really is empty.

I am going to feed penguins!

I think I deserve it lol for all the ironing I do :)
  • *adopts blanket so she can hand feed penguins too*

Well done! I can see 2015 is going to be the year of WaS! (It would form a great final chapter to the WaSobiography to list all the places you're going to this year, with a report on each one :D )
