Hi WaS, we're OK thanks for asking. We went for a meal yesterday & had a lovely time :)

I had similar experience with hair wax, had to wash my hair about 8 times :o

Oh you got me started now, then there was the vaseline to give me longer lashes, my eyes were all swollen up the next morning!

I love oil. I use oil as a cleanser sometimes and its my preferred bath addition over bubble bath etc.

I also love scrubby things, like salt and sugar scrubs
  • Oooh, perhaps I could watch them then, Pyxis! Don't tell me, it was a one off and they will never be repeated. I can handle the odd random murder providing I'm not attached!

Well, they've been on Drama, every day, showing 4 or 5 back to back.
The last one for today starts at 4.00. I've looked through next week, but the 4.00 one appears to be the last.
You may be able to get them on catchup, but I don't know if catchup serves the Drama channel.

Edit. You can get them on DVD either as two stories on one DVD or whole sets/part sets. Here's a link....

  • I might hint at WaSp to buy me the DVDs!

Bambi is a lovely film other than the bad bit. My dad took me to see it while my mother was in hospital and the poor man had to sit through it twice because I refused to leave after it ended the first time (Cinema's allowed you to stay for repeats back then).

Yes, surprisingly good! Especially when you realise it was made in 1942!

    Evening All.

My amaryllis has 5 white flower heads on it and is one of the most beautiful plants I have ever seen.

Had a lovely evening with DH yesterday while littlewing and DS were away with grandparents.

We've more or less packed away Christmas now.

I have been reading some great books and reflecting on things as I like to do at this time of year. I feel very inspired.

There is a lot going on with extended family right now. I am looking forward to getting back into a routine but a little fed up over jobs that I haven't had time to complete.I haven't even caught up on the thread properly yet.

    Your amaryllis sounds lovely whitewing.

I'm preparing for the return to work. So I've got roast veg (for roast veg and cream cheese wraps) and pizza rolls in the oven and I've taken the Christmas decorations down. I could cry at the thought of leaving dumbass dog. We've had such a lovely time pottering about and having cuddles and now I have to leave him alone to go to work. I could cry.

In fact, I am crying now.

  • Awww, hugs to code and dumbass dog. Don't worry, hun, he will readjust quickly and be extra cuddly when you come home xxxxx

whitewing - we need pix of your amaryllis!!!!

Good luck to all those going back to work, and to melly for continuing to manage her exit with grace xxx
