Morning Team WaS! Just been catching up on a few pages.
I think many people potentially misunderstand Watership Down (I know I was haunted by it as a child but re-watched it as an adult) - it's an incredibly uplifting story overall, about overcoming all odds to find stability and happiness. The only bit I find bad is the beginning. Do cry a bit at the end, but it's happy tears. I have "Bright Eyes" on my iPod, (the whole song is beautiful), and I want the Rabbit of Inle tattooed on me with the caption "What is, is what must be." next to it
(Sorry for the ramble, it's one of my favourite stories!)
Ahhh The Princess Bride! That is actually my FAVOURITE film EVER, I wore out a video of it as a child
"No more rhyming now, I mean it!" "Anybody wanna peanut?"
I think I have had too much caffeine today!"I believe in ordinary acts of bravery, in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another."
"It's easy to know what you're against, quite another to know what you're for."

Aw, code big hugs. I hope work isn't too bad now you are there. Dumbass dog will be waiting for cuddles when you get home.
I also hope your day is going well, too LIR. Don't overdo it, lots of little rests.
Maybe I should take WaSp up on his offer and watch Watership Down after skipping the sad bit, HBS! Uplifting is perfect, hurting/dying animals I can't cope with.
How are you feeling today Pyxis?
Hello whitewing! We have missed you!
As for me whyyyyy are the chest pains back? I was getting better! Back under a blanket for a day, I think.
Oddly I dreamt about my old financial advisor. I had one when I was 23 and felt ever so posh. In reality it was because I was trying to figure out how to pay back a loan, pay into a pension and was self-employed as well as full-time employed and I got way too confused with it all at that age and he happened to be a client of WaSp's so I dumped it all into his lap. He used to draw little stick figures standing under umbrellas of protection to try and explain it to me, I never fully understood. He was a nice man, I even went to his wedding. No idea why I have thought of him for the first time in 20 years.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Hugs code, I could definitely have done with another[STRIKE] decade [/STRIKE]day of cat cuddles instead of facing the office and email deluge.0

Thanks every one I'm ok. Bizarrely I'm really warm. Like....hot. I am even sweating a bit. I've turned the heating off, and I'm wearing a vest top and yoga pants. ( pulled off all other layers. )
I don't feel unwell. In fact quite the opposite. Maybe my metabolism is working?
Haven't done meal plan yet ( decided to wait and talk to resident parent who arrives home today) but have put second load of washing on. ( there are mountains to wash through, and RP will have loads)0 -
Hope the office feels less bad now you are in it.
Days back feel horrid. And I am convinced weeks back should not start on Mondays. Makes the week too long and tiring.0 -

Hell yes. 5 days in a row is just ridiculous after 2.5 weeks of lying around eating.0 -
Hello tea! I hope you aren't drowning under too many emails.
Share some of your warmth, please LIR? I am freezing and because of my stupid broken temperature control when I do get cold it takes ages for me to warm up (and vice versa with being too hot). I am glad that you feel well, though!
The only experience of Monday's I ever had was at school which I used to dread. I always found it an advantage of shift work that any day could be the first of the week. Of course, it meant weekends didn't really happen either but I much preferred a random working week.
My chest really, really hurts. I am not happy to have this back again.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

How rude of me, I should have said hello to everyone not just code.
I would also like some spare heat please LIR, have lost feeling below the knees (I always manage to forget how cold this office is after a few days away).0 -
Aw, you need a heat pad on your lap, tea! I used to have one when I worked, the office had no heating at all and had a huge draughty window. Mind you, I was also known to sit there with a blanket on my lap.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
