MU maybe try cut him a bit of slack for Christmas and New Year? It tends to be a time when the thoughtless/useless at keeping in touch quickly amongst us let things slide a bit. It's not necessarily personal, just other things get in the way sometimes. I'm a bit like it myself, as friends would testify.
And maybe he's not well himself.....didn't you say he'd not been well?

Yep. I think we all know how Christmas can bring out the best and the worst in people; family crap, coupled with the short days and end-of-the-month debts, can cloud a lot of judgements.

Get well, let the New Year come and go, let the days start lengthening again, and your strength reserves will start to fill again. Then you'll see things how they really are. :A

I often have a slump this time of year - going out in the dark and coming home in the dark really don't do me any favours. I struggle to get out of bed in the morning for most of Jan and Feb then things start to get better again. Hence heading off to foreign climes in Feb if possible, which it won't be this year unfortunately.

Plenty of time for conversations with Beau about being there for each other when you're feeling a bit stronger.

    :T

(What is pulled pork btw? Keep seeing it mentioned but no idea what it actually involves.)

Slow cooked pork shoulder shredded in a bbq source.
  • Pulled meat is when you pull it, so it comes to bits in strands, rather than just cutting it, I think. (Lovely texture - I do like it that way.)

    I say, well done mellymoo - that's brilliant! :D
