I love yellow, so I'd vote for yellow.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • I would vote for yellow, too! It's a lovely, cheerful colour!

So's mine, but due to a white ceiling and a fear of heights stopping me from repainting it myself when I realised how bright the yellow was, it does bear an unfortunate resemblance to the inside of a creme egg.
Interior decor is not my thing, my house looks a bit like a kid let loose in a paint factory. :)

    I love

  • Thank you all, I am feeling much better now, I think a lot of it is stress, I have been so worried about everything just lately, and let down by people.. I am away from home and will just see how it goes. Bless you all. :)

MU maybe try cut him a bit of slack for Christmas and New Year? It tends to be a time when the thoughtless/useless at keeping in touch quickly amongst us let things slide a bit. It's not necessarily personal, just other things get in the way sometimes. I'm a bit like it myself, as friends would testify.

You beat me to that one JM! :rotfl:

Well, I have a stripy one, and a William Morris wallpaper. The stripes pick out the same colours in the wallpaper, but being stripes on a neutral background, don't clash with the wallpaper!
I thought they would, but when I got the samples, I was delighted to find they don't!

Yellow glowing in a dark hallway sounds lovely! Why do the gold threads worry you?

    You can get samples sent!

My decoration style is quite eclectic. I think its possible we'll have quite busy walls in there ( or maybe not, we have been toying with attempting to hand paint a mural on it eventually.......it will be over three floors, so will need to evolve.) and the hall is cramped. I'm also quite keen on covering one wall with mirror, wall to wall, not lots of mirrors, and antiquing the glass, but recognise that would cost a bomb.

The gold I have to be careful with. Its very easy for me to go ott. :D. I thing the yellow is gorgeous enough by itself to make a 'yellow brick road' to the upstairs, without needing the gold in it.

    Perhaps i need to try.

I know i castrophize everything anyway.

But i've always been there for him when he's needed me and yet the one time i really need him he is no where to be seen. I know i shouldn't take it personally. I just feel !!!! and he should be someone I can count on. And right now he's not. I know i'm not thinking rationally and its the depressive thoughts that are clouding my judgment, but i'm feeling very scared and very alone right now.
