Grr im currently annoyed as one of my meds is causing unwanted side effects and dr googles opinion is that the only way to stop aid side effects is to come off it i dont want to though as it really does work for me. it took 3 years to find meds that worked i don't want to have to go through starting new meds all over again i really need to book in with my GP to discuss it (as dr google also said long term this side effect could affect my fertility and cause oesteoporisis :eek: )

I have to confess was that I didn't get a chance to send you anything. I wanted to but I just got overwhelmed before Christmas and didn't manage to get there.

Today I feel like crap. The nasty voice in my head is telling me I'm fat, ugly and useless and should just die now. The small voice behind that is saying "I want to die".

MU you should definitely go to see your doctor. Maybe there's some way to keep you on that medication without nasty side effects.

iammumto one, you can go to the doctor now.if they give you a fit note to say you shouldn't work,you don't have to give it to your employer if you don't want to. The doctor won't be telling your work. Alternatively you can tell them you don't want to be signed off.

Just a thought so you don't have to wait for your referral. Hope it helps.

Do go to doctor, MU. There are so many alternative medications these days that hopefully they should have one or a combination for you.

As for me, WaSp and I are wondering if we will ever be well again? WaSp now had a swollen face from a sinus infection and I have swelling under my jaw and arms which I know is my lymph nodes. We both feel totally awful, still. My nose is running a tiny bit today so I am hoping this is going to morph into a full scale cold shortly. Then hopefully it might get it over with.

We won't mention all of the health triggers about death with having lung pain, headache and swollen nodes. I am determinedly ignoring the voices who basically decided I was a goner two days ago...

Sorry, got hit with a massive horrible behind the eyes headache so I took some strong painkillers and had a nap, curled up on the sofa with dumbass dog who isn't leaving my side atm. The benefits of my medical condition is that there are always strong painkillers around somewhere.

I'm ok. I know it's just nonsense and the sensible voice in my head is telling the nasty ones not to be so stupid. I'm not even remotely suicidal.

Also, WaS, your voices are totally wrong. You're still here so they're talking rubbish. I hope you and WaSP feel better soon. There are some nasty bugs out there but nothing you can die from.
