  • Thank you everyone! She has taken the vase! I am a little bit proud and a little bit guilty but it is one thing less that I will never use in here so that is very good.

In other news physio hurts. A lot. Ouch. Pain pill time, I think!

Well, I haven't solved the mystery problem completely. But I think I may have solved it enough to disentangle the mystery! The real thing is properly centred (in order to do this I had to copy a screen print into Paint, then crop it, which is the difficult bit as you have to have everything you want visible on the screen).

Anyway, too much detail. Here it is, hopefully. WaS, I was thinking if you'd like a real one I could post it to the address Pugliet went to, and you could pin it up somewhere. Because I emphasise again

THIS IS NOT FROM ME, IT'S FROM THE WHOLE THREAD. This is what a whole big bunch of people think of you. And OK, we only know you from here, but someone who was not truly lovely at heart wouldn't even know how to pretend to be the person you come across as.

WaS, I want to warn you while I remember that after tomorrow I might not be around as much for a week or so in the run up to the gig then helping clearing up. Wish me ENERGY! After critter round this morning I went back to bed then lounged round all morning.

jobbingmusiician - that is brilliant! You are so clever.

I second LIR's suggestion that jobbingmusician is the point of contact for WaS's partner or carers.

WaS, have you opened your window today to let some sunshine and fresh air in?

  • I just did open my window, whitewing! It was desperate, the temperature was 88f in here and I am melting! My flat is great in the winter because it is a middle flat so heat from above and below and left and right flows into mine. In the summer it is horrible! I am sitting by the window and enjoying a gentle breeze whilst not looking downwards because there are people down there. My view of the tree tops is much better.

Peep at the people! They can't hurt you. I love people watching from a distance.

  • I might risk a little peep! They don't know I am up here, after all. There is a squirrel in the tree opposite that is providing great entertainment, too!

Grrrrr - everything on the certificate is true, not just the hair! :rotfl:

LiR - have a great gig! I am away playing music from next Friday for 10 days, but will still check in occasionally.

Happy to be the point of contact for WaS's partner, by the way.
