Dumbass dog hardly ever finishes his food. When we got him, he came with a bag of arden grange dry food and some canned wet food. So we fed him what they told us to. Only he was eating the wet food, like a topping and scattering the dry food around the floor. We persisted feeding him this way for months, trying everything to make the food more palatable to him (new food, hot water, gravy)but nothing. After a bit we decided he wasn't fading away to nothing so just gave him good quality wet food. Some days he eats loads, other days, almost nothing. This is true! He is sitting next to me right now and will be cuddled during the down time. I am attempting to stay awake so that I can hopefully sleep through it.
