Your fault that I have just been out to splurge in The Works and WHSmith. I could have spent the whole day browsing round shops. They were heaving already. I am definitely getting everything done by the end of November.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

I order everything online, it is one time when I am pleased that I don't have to face the shops. I have niece's and MIL's presents to go, I have asked for money from MIL for my birthday which will pay for those gifts so I hope to everything ordered by the end of November, too.
Having said that I do slightly miss the Christmas rush, one of my happy memories is late night shopping one year with all the lights twinkling. I wouldn't want to do it more than once though.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I order most of the stuff I need online as I am often stuck in the house, unable to get out. Plus, it's really difficult to navigate a mobility scooter around the shops as they like to pack every aisle. It's just easier to shop online. There is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0

Toffee Crisp cheesecake sounds amazing!
That has to be a nightmare, pipkin when the shops are so busy, I don't blame you at all for shopping online. I always buy our food online and WaSp grabs fresh food if we need it, I don't go out of the flat and the last thing he feels like after being awake half the night with MIL is facing a big shop.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Today I noticed one of the houses well known for having a HUGE light display in a town near us is gearing up ready to go.
I wondered if you might want to brave a ride round under cover of darkness to see the illuminations? My husband loves this activity. I know the cats would too.
No pressure or expectation , just a suggestion of a possible, or something to think about if you have a December appoint ment...its not an appointment...its a light show with a stop off.0 -
Ooh a dark night drive, as my niece calls them!
This has been a tradition with us since she was tiny (she's 12 now, and still loves it)
