Avocao-something? A salad with fruity bits and cheese? Terry's chocolate orange, lol (although that's usually xmas breakfast!)
I'm in a skiving mood today. I want to write Xmas lists, and browse round shops.
Aunt has said that we can buy our own presents this year and give them to her to wrap. I get the joy of spending without it costing me. I am very excited.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Ooooh, cheese food! Now they sound nice! I have never tried them before, I think that would be perfect, thank you, code! Avocado is also yum, whitewing and something I rarely buy. I wonder if I could do both?

Hmmm, I was supposed to be meeting a friend for tea and cake at lunchtime and she's cancelled. Do I go and get cake anyway?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

You even have to ask?0

Why not have avocado and prawns? Something both like? Then have a little cheese board of three cheeses
Re puddings, what about a Christmas spiced and fruited bread and butter pudding....like Christmas pudding but lighter. You could use stollen or pandoro or pannetone for the bread.
In the 'old days' we used to have minimum three types of pudding but I pared right back and we just have Christmas pudding if its just us now. We don't even have 'all' the trimmings but spread them over the time off for enjoyable seasonal meals.0 -
You are all making me very hungry
My crackers and babybel lunch is going to seem very disappointing now that I'm craving prawn cocktail, a turkey roast, trifle and chocolate yule log:santa2:

Haahahaha! Sorry, tea! Funnily enough Asda just opened their Christmas delivery slots which are essential for me, WaSp is usually driving MIL everywhere and I have no hope of getting to the shops. I just threw on a load of random food, I will sort it all out near the date. As long as I know food will turn up I am happy.
A version of bread and butter pudding sounds wonderful, LIR. I absolutely adore stollen and so does WaSp so that would work. You know I have never tried pannetone, I should remedy that. I can have small amounts of alcohol! I would never forget the sausages in bacon, it is one of the best bits!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
