Looks a bit stuffy in there lir, you should open a window ;)

I'm a cheese lover too, current favourite is Wensleydale and cranberry.
I often break off a chunk when I go in the fridge.

My favourite cheese is is chaource. I just love it. Then I like fresh little rindless goat cheeses. Good Mozzerella, or burrata. A particular type of Gorgonzola that I cannot find here, its softer, like the dolce latte or something the sold here but different. In general I'm a bit off blue cheeses though.

Mustn't think any more about cheese, cannot eat much ATM and ate quite a bit at the weekend ( ricotta and feta...yum) and so am banned for a long while.

  • I love the roof of your study. (Unless the distortion is just the camera, but I suspect it really IS that shape :D) Wow! What a house of character! xxxx

That's why the roof was propped...if we'd taken it down and rebuilt it would have been easier but would have lost character, even if we reused the original beams etc. it retained the distortion how we did it, and our bank account got one too.
  • God, I know the bank distortion thing. Today they found that the previous builders had used cotton wool (OK, not quite cotton wool - a breezeblock like substance) above the lintel on our back door. Obviously it's collapsing and needs replacing - in addition to all the other stuff that's going on ATM :(

I think once upon a time in this thread, someone posted a youtube video for how to cut your own hair. It will be all right, codemonkey.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
