I shall have to experiment now I have read that MU and buy lots of different cheeses to try. That is my excuse and I am sticking to it...
I always spend more on WaSp than he does on me, code. I tend to cheat and allocate us both a budget and give myself a tiny amount and 'forget' to mention that I have allocated more for him. He deserves to be spoiled a little for everything he does for me.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Nowadays cheese is made under quite different circumstances mainly. Then the key things were temperature, ability to get things clean and good drainage when you washed stuff down.
Will add a few more, posting so I don't lose.0 -

I love buying pressies too and seeing as i cant go overboard for buying for the family, i'm buying lots for the beau instead
When I say a fight, I mean a bicker. Me and DH don't really have big fights. We just bicker all the time. I'm going to allow for inflation on the budget. I like present buying and wrapping.

The out door loo, when we had the wall knocked down, so it was in the cheese room, it felt really odd, as you were piddling in a a HUGE room, and the back door was just behind you. ( behind that brick wall which didn't go all the way across and now is not there....) ....people just walked in all the time, lol.0 -
We still have that floor, but it cannot go back down, so its going to be a terrace outside. I have to find something similar, that's why we still have concrete.0

As much character as this room?.
:rotfl:
This is our study. It has walls now, thank goodness.
It is a nice house, it has a good feeling. Lots of people in the area are very fond of it and it has connections for people. We are very aware that it means something to others. We're very lucky our work has been universally popular, often very beloved house's new owners aren't welcome when they make changes or repair. Perhaps because we are so slow to do things or because we are not doing anything too drastic its all going ok so far. Our planning application didn't have a single objection, where we expected at least some at parish level.0 -
