Don't worry, WaS, trolls never ever get to 1491 posts so you can't possibly be one. They tend to appear and disappear while they still have the big red newbie sticker next to their names. And are more prevalent around half term and school holidays when kids get bored which is why you might be noticing them more at the moment.
I am knackered. My childcare involved water fights (I had water pistol, child had hosepipe which seemed a tad unfair), helping to build a tree house, my first ever legalised begging (aka trick or treat. The kids chose not to share any of their treats, mean beggars) and freezing my bits off watching 9 year olds play rugby.
Handy hint also for anyone with a trainspotting nephew - when they plan a day out on a vintage railway with carte blanche to plan the day, do not expect to actually leave any of the stations at any point. I was previously unaware that it was possible to spend a full day going up and down the same train line repeat visiting the same stations. My head nearly exploded with boredom. His parent did treat me to a slap up meal and lots of alcohol as recompense.
Gitdog seems positively chilled by comparison. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Thank you so much for reassuring me. I would truly hate to be thought of as a troll, I doubt my own thoughts enough as it is. Everything has to be real because WaSp is here and knows that it is plus my doctors and psychiatrists would know if I was making things up. This is just because I am anxious over tomorrow and the whole month of hospital appointments ahead of me, it will pass and I will be fine again. Honestly it's about all I can do now to stop myself posting please stop it!!!! on a current thread talking about trolls. I won't because I have no right to stop others talking about what they wish but it is making doubt myself horribly. Not the posters faults at all, it is purely my anxiety and psychosis right now. I really need to stop reading it but as happens when things get like this I am afraid not to in case I miss a clue that was left for me. Again, ridiculous and coming from psychotic thoughts.
Thank you for the suggestion of looking at my print-outs, oldestgnome. I have them with now and they are helping. Everyone believes me and that helps so much.
Thank you for saying that you would help, whitewing. I don't worry about me as much as I worry about MIL and WaSp. I need to know that they would be looked after if something happened to me. Although I do worry sometimes about what would happen to me if WaSp died, I couldn't live as independently as I do now but I have never refused help and would cooperate with what was offered. I think it is lovely to think of human angels, I am going to remember that.
Very true, elsien. I would be a persistent troll to get to this many posts! I can't quite believe how many I have made! I loved hearing about your weekend although the repeated train journey might have left me slightly hysterical! What did I miss?
WaS, you certainly aren't a troll, and yes, I'm right here if I'm ever needed to enable people to contact you. Have a great day tomorrow. Just remember - the experience of my life has been that the days you dread aren't normally as bad as you expect! (And just think of the sense of achievement!)
Elsien, your last sentence about gitdog being chilled made me curl up! :rotfl:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
DD likes the scary mouth, oldestgnome.
We will send raindrops and puffs of wind to wash away any negativity during the month, WaS!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Oh, how odd. My reply to oldestgnome posted before her post. Weirdness!
Thank you JM. I am sure tomorrow will be wonderful, this is just me getting myself in a state beforehand. It was also a very bad idea to have 5 hospital appointments within a month, next time I need to stagger these so I don't panic so much. I am going to make pumpkin pie with WaSp, hopefully that will distract me a little.
Thank you, whitewing! It is due to rain tomorrow so I am hopeful that will cheer me up!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

My fault WaS - I posted two pictures in the first post but then it wouldn't let me keep them both so the penguin stayed and I reposted me....
Elsien - you sound like an awesome and very tolerant aunt! Hardly surprising you were bored in the same stations
Pyxis - hope you're weekend was fun.
Is there any pumpkin left for the pie WaS?0 -
Yes, but you'll have a fantastic birthday at the end of it all.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
