I'm not sure whether I am very tactile or not.

I'd default to yes, I kiss people and Hug etc, but I don't particularly like people I don't like/ haven't been introduced to touching me. E.g. With curly hair you often find people feel they can reach out and ping a curl and say ' lovely hair'. I would never reach forward and pat someone's back side and expect it to be ok because I said, ' lovely bottom!' Or any other part of them. . That kind of thing malpkes me wonder if I am more uptight than relaxed about being tactile. Because a truley tactile person might not mind. My friends and I can be quite touchy feely though, and touching has been important and hadn't felt weird in lots of hobbies and disciplines I've had.


Anyway, Pyxis, you are a chum, and in glad ly hug you!

Could you do something with her before you go away - take her to a show or the cinema/meal or something. I like to spread my birthday out over a few days.

Kiwi would give you hugs too, but he spent a lot of today on the muck heap.......might not appeal......;). Dog dog is a sometimes hugger, she likes her back scratches and if you do it just right you'll probably go on her hug list, but it am afraid she is terribly bigoted and its nothing to do with her upbringing I'm most upset with her iliberalism, Big dog is a FaNTASTIC hugger. The best. But because she's got a dodgy tooth her breath is awful. I don't, and vet doesn't want to yank it out because we don't think she'll benefit fro. The intervention. .


Smelly dog hugs though, the best from big dog....and she is always pleased to offer them. Also, if you can cope with about 70 od kg of dog on your lap, she's your girl.

LIR, your tactile comments reminded me of when I was very pregnant, and people, particularly men, were always patting my tummy!

Mind you, it didn't particularly seem strange! I suppose we all felt it was the baby they were patting, not me!

If they'd done that when I wasn't pregnant, they'd have copped a fist of fives!


Kiwi, I shall desist for the moment, Eau-de-muck not being conducive to enjoying hugs! but when you've had a bath....... I love doggy hugs! I miss my doggy hugs!

Doggy cuddles are the best. Max does super cuddles- he absolutely loves to cuddle it is probably his favourite thing- he proper nestles in and snuggles as tight as he can. Bless his heart.

I have a rotten cold. Hoping little miss does not catch it. It is her birthday on the 13th and her party is Sunday at a local soft play centre. I making her a cake but cannot decide- between quite a few ideas so she may well end up with two cakes... one for the party and one for her actual birthday lol.
