Whitewing, gives me a boost, and also, when fir sees me being admired does......possessiveness ( not quite right word, cannot think of right word) vies with pride......;) its always positive for us. ( probably in the same way its negative in bad relationships)

Poor dog puddles, and poor cleaner up of puddles. :(. Its when I most hate having concrete floors.

That reminds me, I think I have some carpet off cut I want to put down in the Cheese where the rug kiwi ate was. So I have some where to stretch on the floor. ( my dogs don't sleep in the cheese room/kitchen' they come in when I am in there only...)

Edit( tht made it sound like I was planning to share carpet with the dogs to piddle on, I'm not, I just need so ethic other than concrete to stretch on!

I just got surprise backed into a corner ( incidentally while having a stab on right side of face so I was distracted) and so for railroaded and didn't stand my ground.

I HATE it when that happens. And it happened in a manipulative way which really really annoys me.

As a result I'm sitting some where in my house I didn't plan to be sitting waiting for something to happen I don't want to happen and have noticed my guttering appears to be dripping. So at least something productive has come out of the situation, and I can put that on the to do list.

Good afternoon! It is wet and cold = happy WaS. My thyroid completely messes up my inner temperature control so I tend to get stuck on one temperature, if I become hot even if I enter a very cold environment I will still stay feeling hot for hours, the same with feeling cold. Cold is easier to deal with than hot in this case as I can pile on the blankets, it isn't so easy to become cool again.

    Poor suffering doggies and kitties!

I shall remember that, Errata. It is the starting that I have problems with. It seems such a monumental task.

Have a good day at home, Code. I am guaranteed to get one huge volcano on my face every TOTM, the last one was on the end of my nose. Sometimes I am glad that I don't go out.

Take it easy today if you can LIR, I have a fluffy pink rug that I lie on when my spine is hurting. Aw, being backed into a corner is annoying! Plan something nice for after the event? I am very easily backed into corners, when I did socialise I spent a lot of time doing things I didn't want to do. i sympathise.

Nothing wrong with feeling that someone fancies you, whitewing! It has always thoroughly cheered me up! I know WaSp does but it is still nice to have a bit of confirmation from elsewhere sometimes!

I have a plan-I want to go out again. Autumn is my favourite time of year and I really want to be outside and experience it. I haven't decided the when or where yet but I am going to do it.

It's a task that's as big or as small as you want it to be, you're in charge.
So.....how do you eat this particular elephant? Crack out a list of chapter headings, then do a rough start and end para for each one and you'll discover the middle part is manageable.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
  • I confess that I hadn't thought of approaching that way, Errata. My current practice tends to be to sit down in front of an empty Word document and see pages and pages floating ahead of me that need to be filled which results in an immediate blank mind. You are totally correct, I need to break that elephant down.

I have a lot of diaries that will be the 'meat' of the book and I amazed at how much I wrote back then. So far my teacher friend has transcribed half of it and we are up to 60,000 words, I certainly never had a problem writing as a teenager.

Write in longhand on paper then and your teacher friend can type it up as he edits.

I am convinced the flow of handwriting will help soothe you.

Or sit with a blank piece of paper and let one of the personalities have a go first.

Have you seen these? Though it might be something your dd would like? I am thinking of getting one for my little one- if you put your dd name in you can take a peak at the story and what it would look like before ordering- not cheap- but what a wonderful story and keepsake?

What about going to a forest? You could find somewhere really quiet and just enjoying the wind blowign the leaves in the trees and seeing what wildlife you could spot.
