    Thank you!

Feeling okay which is a miracle seeing as people kept buying me drinks and I kept being given free ones!

No idea what has happened to my sleep pattern but I seem to keep waking up at half 7 everyday!

    Hope everyone is okay :)

    Happy birthday, MU!

Now, serious stuff. I wanted to post about confidentiality.

A fellow mental health professional has been following this thread, and has asked me to pass a message to WaS. She was completely wowed by the levels of support, friendship and help in the thread, but asked me to pass on to WaS and anyone else that it's fine to exchange PMs, but please don't give your address or identity out, even to people on this thread. Not so much for your own safety (although in fact anyone on this thread could be anyone, IYSWIM), but also to protect your own mental health, as if you are vulnerable and know people have your address it can make you feel very paranoid if you have a wobble. Even if you are feeling very well today, think about how you feel when you are unwell and protect your own space!

This was a very timely reminder (the person concerned is a very experienced and 'human' worker! - as you might expect of anyone who has taken the time to read most of this thread) because WaS had mentioned to me that she's very fond of people on here, but has been really worrying about the possibility of people having her address, and that this idea has been feeding into her paranoia and making her feel unwell. (She's said it is OK, and would even be helpful, for me to say this, so I apologise for posting on her behalf on this occasion!) I do have a way of contacting WaS and sending things to her, as you'll remember, and I offered to destroy this, but she's asked me to keep this safe in case she or anyone needs it at any time.

So be safe out there, people - and sorry to be so heavy first thing on a Sunday morning.

    Thank you jm

It's good to be careful (I know I've posted pics of myself but can delete them anytime if I get a bit paranoid)

Thank you (and your friend!) for looking out for us all

Thank you, JM. That's very useful and, as you say, a good reminder.

WaS, no need for you to worry, nobody knows where you are, and won't unless you choose to let them know! You have control over that! :)

P.s. Don't let Sir Pugliet out on his own, though! He might be a bit of a giveaway! :D:D

P.p.s and sorry if we've given you cause for worry. Obviously, that was the last thing we wanted to do. But rest assured, you are quite, quite safe. :A

Good point, and it applies to all the other threads and forae on MSE. I sometimes state in a post that I'm the Queen of the May;)
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
  • Very wise suggestions/thoughts ! I am not an axe murderer but I can't prove it .

Happy Birthday MU. Hugs to everyone, especially the painful people , both mental and physical pain. I suffer with random neurological pain due to neck and back problems, it's no fun at all.

I've had two days of being shattered after my big (for me) expedition on Thursday (the funeral) , am so glad I went though.

We had a minor dog drama yesterday, once it eventuaally stopped raining we took them out in the car for an off-lead run. Came home to find bloodstained pawprints in the back of the car. Always-Hungry-Dog had managed to damage a claw and was bleeding and in pain. The emergency vet had to remove a claw (yanked out like a tooth extraction !!) and poor old Always now has to wear a huge pressure bandage for 24 hours to prevent further bleeding. Lots medicinal biscuits were required ! She can still manage to scratch her nose with the bandaged leg though :)

I had things I wanted to post and I can't remember what they were now ...typical ....... I am still here though.

    Positive thoughts everyone

    Hugs

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Very sensible point.

I've offered to send things through jobbing musician for that reason, though did suggest meeting up with elsien, I realise now that is inappropriate so I apologise.

Would add, I've made great real life friends through Mse though. I'd walk over hot coals for some of the people I've met via Mse.
