Ah, the coat problem! No advice Whitewing, just good luck. I go out in what's called a drizabone, and its not smart at all, in fact its distinctly tatty. But it fits.

None of my coats do. I also have a tatty jacket that smells of animal poop and urine I use for the yard, which gets worn on dog walks or to really rough places.

I'm not sure I go anywhere else any more! Shrug.

Edit: actually, I find coats claustrophobic now when I try them on, and kind of like the idea of cloaks.

Cotton traders looks promising, and is half the price of the most cheerful (albeit heavier) one I could see in M&S. Thanks everyone.

Just had to share this gem from universal jobmatch, after which I will shut up on the topic.
Apparently my skills with learning disability make me eminently employable as both a cloud solutions architect and a junior sous chef. :rotfl: And that's after narrowing down the options to a more specific skill set to get rid of the electricians.
And although I haven't mentioned IT or computers or anything similar, it'd also quite like me to be an IT technician.
Whoever got paid millions to design this system, please can I join in next time?

Edit - I've worked out what it's doing. For example when I put in the name A***** Care it gave me all the jobs with both those words in the job description, And guess what? I can be a sealion keeper and trainer. Not quite a penguin, but not far off.:D
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Edit ebay 261596731510, what were you looking for? (You don't have to say on a public forum :rotfl:) Picture 4 gets my vote. Would it be very mean if I said it reminds me of a woman I used to work for?[/QUOTE]

I just put in "plus size raincoats"! Thought it might make someone smile. There are some quite cheerful spotty plastic ones if you want something that will fit in a bag but also keep out the rain, but something heavier that will keep you warm obviously costs more. There are probably some Cotton Traders coats on ebay too, get the quality without the price! Hope you find something that fits the bill. Well, fits the Whitewing! :)

Good, glad to hear Harry is fine, I hope you are too. I just realised how rude it was to ask about Harry and not you, please accept my apologies! I do realise you are not just Harry's spokesperson!

I'm doing well too. I have today walked with my dogs and for first time in ages instead of encouraging them to walk further than me in the fields I tramped around the far perimeter with them. :D

Feeling physically stronger really helps everything. Though my thighs are a bit shocked at the effort of walking through long wet grass. :o

That's OK LIR no need to apologise, I'm the one that usually does that :o

Pleased to hear you're doing well! I find that walking's good as it gets rid of stress & makes you feel good, although the legs often scream no :D
