JM glad to hear you enjoyed performing this weekend- do you play and sing?

lostinrates - really pleased you had such a lovely evening. Yes is such a good thing to be able to say!

Pyxis - loving the great pictures - the beach shot with the smile is so apt!

WaS - you really should write a book, you have endless material :) A really simple and clear explanation of how and why you developed hoarding tendencies.

Dibuzz - hope you managed a nap :)
  • Can I just apologise to anyone if I have ignored you or not made you feel welcome here? It is never my intention to offend anyone or make anyone feel unwanted and if I have done so it is purely an oversight on my part. If this doesn't apply and makes no sense at all (quite possible) then ignore this post. I will reply to everyone soon, I am not quite up to it right now. I am having a paranoid and guilty moment, don't mind me..

I think you have a very welcoming thread, WaS. I doubt anyone feels ignored. It does tend to become very difficult to answer every post, so I am sure people understand if you don't.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • Aw, thank you whitewing, I really am trying. Being alone for 24 hours is difficult as it gives me too much thinking time and me with lots of time to think is never a good idea.

I shall attempt to reply to posts and carry on as normal, if I ignore the paranoia it might go away.

So glad it went well LIR! I bet it feels wonderful to get out again? Your evening sounds wonderful and so glad the alcohol didn't have any bad effects. Is the new medication working out ok?

Hello KT! I LOVE my new name! My childhood was difficult and I am scarred by it but I have had a lot of therapy for it so it isn't too bad now. A lot of people have it a lot worse so I can't complain.

Aw, Pyxis you found the perfect wave and smile! Don't work too hard, you haven't stopped since you got back from holiday.

Welcome back JM! Sounds like you had a lovely weekend! (sounds, music...no I won't start that again).

Hello Oldestgnome! If I keep going with this thread perhaps I can cheat and copy it all into a book! That is only half a joke, it is actually a vague consideration...

I really, really hope that you are fast asleep right now dibuzz.

Unfortunately not, I tried a few times but just couldn't nod off.
I'm up at 5 so going to have a final try now.
    Goodnight.

Just a thought, WaS, it might be an idea make a copy of this thread, in case anything happens to it. Or at the very least, your own posts.

The other advantage of that is that you would have an already written record to show any health professionals along the way.

Just a thought, but I would, if it were my thread, and such an important one at that!

That dog smile I posted reminded me of one of my dogs, sadly no more, who had a natural, 'dolphin' smile! Just the way her jaw was made, but it was wonderful, and because of it, everybody loved her! It was quite interesting, seeing the effect it had on people! Good job she had a personality to match! Such a friendly, big softy!

Is there a National Smile Day? If not, there should be! And it should be in the depths of winter, so as to cheer everyone up! Say, January 13th! There you go, then, National Smile Day, Founder, WaS of forum fame! :):):)

Edit, well, did some googling. There's a World Smile Day, first Friday in October, started by the guy who invented the smiley!, and then there was a National Smile Month, run by dentists, from May19th-june19th, but haven't seen a British National Smile DAY yet!

And what about a National Wave Day! That'd get a lot of people stopping and thinking, "do I know that person who's waving at me?"!

Oh what the heck! Let's go the whole hog and have a National Wave and Smile Day!

(Right, back to the paperwork! Another really busy week, WaS, but I'll pop in whenever I can!)

I managed 2 hours in the end so am now walking round in a daze.

My dog had the "staffy grin", she was so soft and loved cuddles. I really miss her.

Two of mine grin, one just a little grin in the mornings, the other the most hideous grimace of a grin when ever he is excited. Its cute, but not pretty!

    .

Very few posters are as attentive to all respondents as you WaS. :) your doing fine.

I think my meds are fine. I'm nervous to commit to saying yes as it seems when I feel good it all goes pear shaped again :rotfl: I also think the anti d is helping a lot. I feel quite normal. I had expected to feel a bit 'odd' or 'removed' but I feel 'normal' and think I'm feeling more natural than I have for a long while. I seem to be very lucky that my consultant picked the right one for me first time. I have taken two other things prescribed for mental health but I've taken them for other things, e.g. Diazepam as a muscle relaxant, and that doesn't suit my mood well at all.

It did feel really good to get out. :). I think being in the frame of mind to cope with it feels good too.

Physically. I'm doing ok. I'm just so tired. Unlike poor Dibuzz I have no problem getting to sleep now, staying awake otoh.....:o. Fatigue is a horrid thing because no matter how much you sleep you never feel well rested or refreshed, yet you cannot help falling asleep sometimes. At other times sleeping can be hard! Pain ATM is not so bad at all. :)

Hoping everyone starts the week with a good day. :)
