Aw, that's wonderful LIR! I really hope you can make it and enjoy the evening. Enjoy the interesting company and good food and there is nothing wrong with getting a sudden migraine and needing to be in a quiet, darkened room for a bit. I confess when I was still trying to socialise I have become so desperate that I have faked fainting before at peoples houses so that they would help me to bed and I could breathe for 30 minutes. I am not proud of it but it was easier than saying I have schizophrenia and I am having a psychotic episode! The other guests may have backed off pretty fast...
I have two friends and my partner in real life who know about my health problems but otherwise I hardly discuss them. I am always careful to have someone here when the handyman or landlord visit and I either hide in the bathroom or stay firmly sitting in a chair so they can't see how bad my movement is or how much I am shaking, for some unknown reason I always feel that if I tell anyone, I am behaving all "Woe is me", which is ridiculous I know. The neighbours may have an idea if they see me with a blanket over my head going to hospital appointments but I try and convince myself that no one has looked out of the windows at those times. It is probably some silly pride thing, thinking about it...Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Hi, I have been reading your thread avidly but not commented before.
I just wanted to say your new username has brought a big smile to my face, I'm so pleased they changed it for you.0 -
Aw, Hello and thank you aneres! It has made my day and oddly enough grounded me firmly in this world where before I had been been drifting since I woke up last night. The MSE Forum Team is good for your mental health!
Incidentally LIR, you now have me paying attention to usernames, they actually are interesting!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I feel like waving and smiling back!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

This really has made me ridiculously happy, I actually feel relief that I don't have to look at a sad and frightened name anymore.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

:hello:&
in symbols! Love it. It's perfect for such an inspirational lady. I'm so pleased for you ((()))
Works really well with your avatar too, I can see the blossom happily fluttering in the breeze.
Can't remember how my name came about, think it just popped into my head.0 -
Hi, WAVES AND SMILES! :j :j
6.20 a.m on a Sunday morning? 'Cos it's the only time I have, to post at the moment! Still incredibly busy, with things I must, must do, and deadlines, but had to pop in to see how you were! What a lovely surprise to see your new name!
My username is Ancient Greek for a little wooden box used to keep medicines or small trinkets. I chose it because I collect little wooden boxes, and the last one I bought was a lovely little cylindrical box with an old medicine bottle in it. Probably Victorian or Edwardian.
Very glad to see you're on the up at the moment WaS!
Now, back to work! (Yes, even at this time! Just want to get it over and done!)
See you again ASAP!(I just lurve spiders!)
