May I make a tiny cheer for Scotland for staying? I don't think this thread should be used for politics at all but the thought of them leaving was making me sad and there was a slight feeling that if they had left that I might have caused them to go which wasn't a good sign. No, it makes no sense to me either but thank you Scotland for saving me from psychosis, I for one am very glad you stayed and I would give you all a hug if i could. Sorry to those who wanted to go, I hope something can be worked out so that everyone feels heard. Mind you, In my ideal world we would all be sharing unicorns together and chasing fairies over rainbows, which is why I am not commenting on the political side at all!

Hahahahahahaha! Morning Pyxis! A pudding basin would be an improvement! Honestly, the right side of my fringe is burnt away as is half of the hair on the right side of my head. I look just lovely!

Oh dear, WaS, what a shame about your hair and blisters, but I agree that it was a result of your TOTM and the recent stresses. And if it gets you to try electronic cigarettes, surely that is some good that will come out of it. Trying new things will keep you young.

Hahahaha! Love the hair styles! I still think that I should convince people that mine is the latest thing.

This is true, whitewing! Electronic cigarettes are so much healthier and cheaper, I have a vague hope that if I get used to them while WaSp isn't here that I might be able to give up normal ones entirely. They still have nicotine so shouldn't mess up my medication but no tar or other nasty chemicals. It would definitely be a better option.

The ecigarette is a very good idea WaS. I know you have said before that a certain amount of nicotine seems to be the right balance for you. Mind you, that was before the introduction of your new funky asymmetric hairstyle! Do keep on with the cloth wrung out in cold water and changed frequently, you still need to take the heat out of the burn, even several hours later.
And of course, while you have the tap on..........:beer:

Hahahahah! Funnily enough I am having a glass of water right now, solar! I am still soaking the blisters, they are too sore right now to risk lying down in bed. Perhaps I'll just blame everyone here - you all go to bed and look what happens?! I set fire to myself! (I'm joking!)

Awwww! I would never blame everyone really. I am vaguely amused at myself now, it was an accident although quite how I forgot to put a cigarette in my mouth before trying to light it is a bit of a puzzle! You never know, it could lead me to stop smoking real cigarettes in which case it has done me a huge favour!
