I have been a little jealous that you all have pets (even though I would worry tremendously about the cost and DH told DD that in the future we would get her a daschund. 'Dasch' is German for 'badger'. I only learnt that recently).
I am now the proud owner of a not so expensive pet. It is a Hetty vacuum cleaner. (Pink with eyelashes - DH is so pleased with himself for buying it as DD would love it - pink being her favourite colour. I had told him to get the yellow one but it is amazing how much is out of stock when he goes to buy something!). Anyway, it is seriously cute for a vacuum. When we vacuum, DD gets out her toy xylophone and vacuums with that, about half a centimetre from the back of our legs. You're not the only one, WaS, that can make household tasks more dangerous, lol.
Whitewing did you know you can get mini toy hetty vacuum cleaners? My little one has one....

Looking forward to something no matter how big or small is a great coping mechanism when things are stressful. Birthdays, Christmas, seeing/speaking/hearing from friends and family, receiving a card/letter in the post, gifts that are on your list and you know you will enjoy, how someone else will enjoy what you have planned for them, baking, a midnight trip to the beach, this list is endless

Evening Haybel - happy to hear that Max is getting cuddles and everyone is better! Will do nearer the time (and when I've got round to it - malaria tablet discussions today and last jab booked for next week).
That is so cute, the question is can £10 be squeezed out of the budget to add one to DDs Christmas gifts Whitewing? They do knitted huggable ones too....

ETA and a smaller huggable version for a £5 but not quite as functional as Haybels suggestion!

Just wanted to say that I've been lurking on this thread for a while and you are all such wonderful people. You have your own issues but you always take the time to help and support others, even in the early hours. You guys are such an inspiration.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

The one my little girl has is so cute... but she is absolutely terrified of the hoover and gets very upset. Thankfully our downstairs is all laminated so swept and washed- just upstairs carpet and hoovered which is just as well as Max does not like either! Little one won't even go near her toy one which is a real shame -she cries- and it is very quiet. My daughter is not yet 2 (next month) so might be something she comes onto.
My cousin little boy has on of thetoy hoovers (they also do henry) and he absolutely loves his.Make £10 a day challenge November £125.60/310
