Your DD really does sound lovely, whitewing. I am so glad she seems much happier and being a good girl. That is a credit to her parents as well as her.
I think the next week is going to be punctuated by taking my own advice on dealing with anxiety. Giving myself 10 minute bursts to panic, feel dreadful and think why meeeee? and then saying no more to it for a while. Otherwise I am going to be in a panic for the whole week and that is not only bad for me, it will also do absolutely nothing to change the situation. PMS is definitely not helping, thanks body.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Looks like the awake in the middle if the night thing is catching! Brain won't switch off tonight:(0

I wouldn't mind being awake now, if it weren't for the fact that I listened to my 'Deep Sleep Every Night' hypnotherapy CD when I went to bed.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Also, from the mail:
this is ok, it's about a study on depression

In the second one, it's a shame they didn't list the chemicals that were raised in the blood during a spike in depression.
At the end of it was a note about a study of 18000 people comparing the stress levels of those who drove to work, compared with those who commute by train, bus, walk or cycle. They found stress was highest in the drivers, despite the extra convenience.(I just lurve spiders!)

Makes sense. You are often in confrontational situations ( even if you are merely giving way to the aggression of others) and you aren't getting the exercise of walking between bus stops/platforms/stations that we KNOW fights depression for most people. Also, you are constantly in a position to berate oneself....' Ah, should have gone then, ooops, shouldn't have gone then, damn, missed that spot now someone else has it, going to be late , going to be late, going to be late. On public transport.......you might be late, but there is little you can do about it besides leaving on time and a bit early.0 -
Yes, and walking and public transport puts you in contact with other people, even if you don't say a word! You're 'in the world', whereas in a car you're in an isolated bubble.(I just lurve spiders!)

Makes for interesting reading, thanks whitewing. It never ceases to amaze me how the things we do all the time just to live our lives have such a massive impact on our general wellbeing.0
