MU, how exciting! Keep safe and have a great time.

WaS, the surveyor will probably be lovely - the company usually screen candidates carefully. He will also be very used to houses in different states.

dibuzz, what a gorgeous photo. Glad you got some sleep over the weekend.

Have a great day, virtual family.

Always have my mobile, I use it as an alarm.
Had my kindle next to the bed both nights.
Have got new curtains but they are still in the packet.
    I don't have a watch or clock.

Hey, very self indulgent, but I'd like to tell you all I feel better than usual today.

Last night after a really lovely massage from fir we listen to a meditation ( we sound very hippyish) to go to sleep and I just couldn't get comfortBle, and my tight back, that fir had rubbed and rubbed, wouldn't go flat on the bed. I got a pillow and put it half way down my back , below my bra line, and got a little click and suddenly felt a little better and good lie flat.

I bet an osteopath could get great noises out of me today if I could get a clucky click with a pillow in bed. ( I'm not meant to have spinal manipulation any more , but by heck I miss it, little else feels as good)

My shoulders which have become tight and hunched habitually, are settled a touch lower, and walking felt more comfortable this morning and I feel just....better. Now, if every dodgy bit of my spine felt so relieved and my other joints attended too, I wonder how I'd feel! :)

Could you try leaving your mobile and kindle in another room, just to see what happens?
And any other electrical equipment, like TV, phone, etc.
    it may just help.

  • Public place, tell a real life person, check in when safe home,

Amazed how many of the friends I have who blind date do not meet in a public place.

I met my husband on a blind date 43 years ago :)

We went out with another couple though, we were not alone.

Just to repeat LIR's good advice, and I wouldn't give away too much private information either.

Have a good time and I hope he's all you want him to be x

I have my friend on call to check in with and we are meeting in a public place :) I will be safe!

And I'm not in a rush to rush thing if that makes sense, just want to see if we get along as well in person before I think about it some more :)

  • Good Afternoon all! Good luck MU, how exciting!

Hahahahaha, I shall try not to do anything (too) illegal to the surveyor!

I have been putting the finishing touches to cleaning and tidying up and now my food order has arrived a day early. Of course, it did. Now I have a huge box to unpack! But plenty of time until 3.30pm yet so having a coffee for 5 minutes.

Hello, Was! Didn't realise he wasn't coming until 3.30. What a pain!

Can you tell me what chilli liquorice is like, and what you use it in?
Is it a paste? Or is it liquorice sticks with the added flavour of chilli?
I've asked some friends, but they've never heard of it!

Sometime soon someone I know and trust is coming to stay with me. She never uses forums and I had to explain things like Rofl to her.

I was thinking of showing her this thread as an example of what forums can mean, but I am aware I have put stuff she might find uncomfortable to think about in connection to me on here.

She has a connection with art as therapy, and I think to see we have a residential artist would particularly capture her interest.
