You're doing great WaS! I've every faith in you. All that sorting & cleaning is really good for your wellbeing, tidy home tidy mind.
I'm rather scared of spiders but I did actually have a tarantula on my arm on holiday. My husband was covered in them, he ain't got no fear! Oh & I was allowed to pull the skin off the snake when we were at a show, after I'd stopped screaming that wasI do find reptiles to be quite fascinating though.
Well done on your sleep dibuzz! Same again tonight eh.
No showering together for us LIR, we're on a water meter :rotfl:
I think I'm going to see if my legs'll work now, I was doing the funny walk earlier on when I tried to move.0 -
We don't mind your random thoughts WaS, as long as you're posting we know you're ok.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140

Aw, thank you, dibuzz. I really can't allow myself to dwell on anything just in case it is a trigger. At 3.30pm tomorrow I have a surveyor coming in to look at every room so I can't hide, I will have to meet him and chat with the incredibly talkative letting agent while he works. I will manage to do this and come over happy, chatty and relaxed. Then the surveyor will leave and I will probably have a minor breakdown for the rest of the week but until that point no psychosis or bad thoughts allowed!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Will WaSp be with you?
Whatever effect it has on you we will all be here.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -

On that note here is a random question, especially for LIR as I know you keep chickens but to anyone really. Is there a difference between supermarket eggs and eggs straight from a chicken without all the travelling? I always by free-range eggs but I don't think I have ever had one that ever came from anywhere but a supermarket.
Yes and no.
Nutritionally ( unless sits been mucked about with) egg is egg.*
Some of us feel what goes in to making egg 'egg' counts. Mine aren't organic ATM, but they are free range in a way commercial free range eggs are not, and cannot be. If we crack a top of the range free range egg open next to one of ours there Is no comparison in colour of yolk or viscosity of white, even if we hold our eggs back a week to compare ( to allow for a generous time of sort and transport of the commercial egg)
Chickens are NOT vegetarian, which lots of people assume they are, and they have friends and favourites in the group.
Some breeds are particularly for egg laying, but my preference is for the old breeds, which on traditional farms and houses were expected both to be egg layers and, um,, supper.
Fir and I prefer not to eat meat a lot but to eat very high welfare meat. This often guide the choice of what we have here, though lots of random things slip through too. We'll not eat our geese for example. For a start they are just too too stubborn, they'd be tough just to spite us. :rotfl: mainly we keep chickens because of an interest of mine and because it meant we could see where our eggs came from. A couple of years ago I was offered a couple of really interesting business possibilities with my eggs and poultry but I was not sure ( I wonder if I was depressed then? In retrospect) and worried about committing with my health situation. I would not get involved with anything commercial that compromised the way I keep my birds.
*. My opinion is if my eggs albumin is tighter, for example, there is something different about them, But I don't know what.0 -

Short day for me. After we went out and put some more stuff on the skip ( every time it looks full, fit gets in and jumps on it and there is more room! )
We took the dogs for a walk and I suffered badly so have come back to lay down.
Lots I SHOULD be doing. Blackberry picking, cleaning, weeding, pruning......0 -

Saves water we argue. Our shower is roomy. We can probably squeeze two more in with us, so if water rates cripple us, we can get lodgers. :rotfl:
The more the merrier, oh don't set me off :rotfl:
Have a rest LIR, plenty of time. Hope you feel better soon. I always feel that if I'm not the mood then I don't do a good job, that's my excuse anyway0 -
Fir loved the peacock spider and is now interested in learning all about them.
I have also been treated to a peacock spider dance interpretation:)0 -

Staying rested because hospital this week and not sure how far I'll have to walk in this new one and would rather not use stick or feel too grim there. So giving in sooner than normally might.0
