Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
I've given up now, just put some washing in.
I've made youngest's packed lunch, don't have to wake him up till 5.30 so I'm having a cup of fennel tea and cheese on toast.
Today is 7 years since we got our daft dog, we always called it her birthday as we've no idea when she was born.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -
Hi, Dibuzz, messedup and sevendayweekend if you're all still up!
Dibuzz, the good sleep you had yesterday - have you thought about what you'd been eating/drinking or not eating/drinking in the preceding 24 hours?
Also, did anything a bit out of the ordinary happen! Like a letter or phone call? How was your mood during that 24 hours? Was there any, even minor, change to your routine? Did you sit down for longer or less than usual? Did you sing?
Was there any difference to any medication you took? More or less than usual? Or anything different? Any OTC medicines or vitamins?
I'm not prying, just trying to analyse the situation!
Your 'daft dog' looks like she's plotting an escapade!
messedup! good luck with today! Enjoy!
(Be sure to exercise a leetle beet of caution. That's the maternal in me coming out!. You've just come out of one relationship, and it might be prudent to take care of how much you reveal about yourself at these first meetings.)
Oh dear! Don't want to sound like a nagging, worrying mum! I just care, that's all!(I just lurve spiders!)

WaS, good luck with today!
Just think! He may be a bit hunky, like the policeman! (Sorry, WaSp, shouldn't lead her astray!) but there's nothing wrong with admiring beauty!
I know! Pretend he's an item that you've just retrieved from the CofGA, and you've got to decide where to file him!
P.s. Don't really file him, though! That would be kidnapping!
If he's not hunky, think of him as an irritating fly, and as he buzzes into each room, you could flit to another room to escape from the irritation, looking for your fly swatter!
P.s. Don't really swat him, though! That would be assault!
After he's gone, a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit will be your reward! If you were to come straight on here and talk about it, might it possibly diffuse any collapse?
Or go straight to the panda thread, and look at all the pandas!(I just lurve spiders!)

She probably was trying to escape, she was a little Houdini when we first got her and could get over a 6 foot fence. Towards the end she couldn't even get up the step
I can't think of anything different. No different meds, drinks or food and didn't do anything different.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -

Public place, tell a real life person, check in when safe home,
Amazed how many of the friends I have who blind date do not meet in a public place.0 -

Did you change your curtains before this all started?
Or get a new bedside clock?
Or a new wristwatch which you keep next to your bed?(I just lurve spiders!)
