Right, well, what did you do!!!, try and do it again tonight, huh?
Have a good full day too, enjoy feeling human and maybe go to bed ready to sleep, normally tired instead of dragging an depleted body there.
So happy for you.0 -
I didn't do anything different to normal so no idea.
I did go out twice yesterday, shopping with eldest son then town with youngest but I've done that before.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -
Talking of spiders, evidence that I need to put the laptop down from my lap and move more, or just move in general really-
A spider just tried to build a web between the table next to me and my laptop screen. How embarrassing...
(But funny and the little spider was cute. WaSp is teasing me mercilessly about being slower than a sloth and spiders viewing me as a stationary object).Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

By the way WaS, you're not the only one who doesn't like "food with a face" or whatever you could call it. I certainly avoid gingerbread men and jelly babies, to name but two. Gingerbread stars and jelly beans, bring 'em on!
As far as fruit in particular is concerned, evolution has crafted a system that spreads seeds by making the fruit delicious and edible. Only a tiny percentage of seeds have to grow to make it worthwhile. So when you bite into a tomato or apple, you are doing just what the plant intended.

duke, I was trying to remember how long it took my epidural to wear off, but it was 30+ years ago! and I had other things to think about at the time, like I was totally knackered after a 26hour labour!
Anyway, I can't remember. I do know that it took me a long time to get over a GA, due to throwing up constantly, and just wanting to sleep.
I think I've got a better understanding of it now Pyxis thanks. Although I may have to wait longer for the epidural to wear off (so I can walk out of the hospital), long term it's probably best to have it compared to the GA. As you know it can take a few weeks or sometimes months get over the effects of the GA, it makes me so dizzy. They usually give me something to stop me from throwing up, it's the last thing you want after any ops down there
Hi WaSSSSer's0 -
Yay! Someone else who won't eat face food! It is also reassuring to know that I do what the plant wants when I eat fruit, I would feel better if could plant the seeds. Hello Solar! I ended up hobbling to the car in my trainers but I wore slipper socks in the hospital. Just from walking from the house to the car and back again has caused a blister on my little toe, I have babies feet! I need woollen booties!

Hi WaS, very well thank you. How're you? I've been out walking today, thought it would do me good. I went to the cemetery to put flowers on my Dad's grave. Seeing as I don't go often & things can change so much I count 3 trees down & 3 graves across to get my bearings, then I'm usually there. So I get my cleaning cloth out .... bend down & begin scrubbing the head stone only to realise that I'm scrubbing the wrong one!
Had to laugh at Harry he said that he was going to get me some 1984 but he could only see the 1664. When we stopped laughing & told him that it was 1664 he was so glad that he didn't make a fool of himself & ask if they had any :rotfl:0 -
Hahahahaha! Easy mistake to make! I am sure the family of the person will appreciate your scrubbing!
I am doing fine! I have entered into my so-called crisis mode which means I am giving negative thoughts and psychosis no head room until after the surveyor comes tomorrow. I can manage to keep it up for a few days but it will eventually crash once I relax and I will pay for it. But it is a handy ability to call on when I need it for short periods. It tends to make me very random though (you may have noticed) as I am not allowing myself to dwell on any thoughts too deeply, my mind is flitting from one thing to another for safety sake.
Now if either I or WaSp actually got up and cleaned something it would help, WaSp is occupied with the Grand Prix and as I said I am so not moving that spiders are spinning webs on me. I'll be covered in cobwebs with field mice nesting in my hair at this rate.
On that note here is a random question, especially for LIR as I know you keep chickens but to anyone really. Is there a difference between supermarket eggs and eggs straight from a chicken without all the travelling? I always by free-range eggs but I don't think I have ever had one that ever came from anywhere but a supermarket.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
