Good luck, LIR, th your plans for today.

haybel, how did you get on at the doctor? Did I miss a post about that?

Hugs to LiR, and all the best for today ((((()))))

    I Loooooooooooove that chimp! :D

haybel (and everyone) please don't feel you have to report back about things like appointments. This is a great motivational thread if people like reminders (as I do) but everyone please feel free to ignore any reminders if you want to. :) (Some posters here are great at reminders and I would find it very helpful, but I believe that some other people might be worried by it, and I wouldn't like to discourage any lurkers from joining in!) :D

I am feeling INCREDIBLY paranoid*- my bid partner hasn't been in touch yet today. If they don't get in touch with the info I need in the next hour or two, ALL my work will have been for nothing :(

    Love the chimp defender! :rotfl:

Despite only having about 2 hours sleep I managed to do my first day of couch to 5k! After last month being a pretty horrible one I've decided this month will be a month of positive changes. I made myself a list of goals (my cpn always loved making me make lists :o ) and so far have ticked off 2 of this months goals! :D I also yesterday made a budget for the next 2 months so yeah...I like lists :o

    I've been Money Tipped!
That face the chimp is pulling is the face my cats pull when they are aiming for a particular spot on the duvet or near my face in bed, they march up my body doing just that face.

Well done MU. The couch to 5k thing has been on my list for longer than I care to admit. Keep us updated as to how you're finding it. Have you done running before? One of my excuses so far has been lack of proper running shoes. What are you using?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I just have some cheap trainers :o

I ran race for life in June :D did it in 46 mins which considering I've barely run before was quite happy with! Before that I had done 3 weeks of couch to 5k. It is hard but it does get easier the more you do it. I never thought I'd be able to do a 5k race but managed it :)

Go for it! Honestly it feels so good when you do it. I think it's a really good way to ease you into running
