I did try it over Christmas I entered about 20 advent ones each day (I just picked ones where the prize was actually something I wanted), but won nothingI suspect that is normal as I didn't enter enough. However it took me a far amount of time and I could see myself getting fed up spending that amount of time every day and never getting anything back.
Hi iammumtooneYou can spend as little or as much time as you want on the comps board. Sometimes I can pop on for an hour or two, at other times I spend more time than I'd ever care to admit on there
I enjoy entering comps & it's more of a hobby, I think of what I could win & get pleasure from this rather than what I do win. Although I've had some good wins over the years, especially 2 holidays! I'm the poor relative in comparison to some people as they've won about 5 holidays  You could always try just entering the biggies, like the cash ITV .... Good Luck!
Soz don't mean to hijack the thread Team WaS, although it does no harm to lighten the atmosphere sometimes. Not that there's a bad atmosphere.0 -
I have spells of ensuring chimps but long gaps in between and not many wins usually.
Over Christmas I won a Berghaus coat which sells for over £200 (it's nice but I'd never have paid that for it) and a T shirt.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -
I have to go shopping, I need a new bra, at least.
I cannot tell you all how much I do NOT want to go shopping. I tried to start looking on line and was just getting more and more confused so I think I do actually have to go to the 'shops'. I'm going to try to go tomorrow if I can.
I'm finding the idea of going shopping quite daunting.
Edit: was , do you shop online or does wasp buy things for you or a mixture of both? I am nervous about financial transactions ATM ( huh, no pun intended) online not for nervousness but because of my memory and linguistic hiccoughs. I'm scared I'll get things wrong then trigger a security thingy on my account.0 -

Yes, I was going to comment on that as well.Time for our resident artist to return, definitely. We need red penguins, a penguin dressed up as the Pope, ensuring chimps and fritzed fairies (well, pretend fritzed fairies). Do you know the site DYAC? (Very rude but very funny! Short for Damn You, Autocorrect!)

Er what's ensuring chimps dibuzz?
Well done on your win! I won a voucher..... from Cocoa Bay for £75 & I bought a lovely swim suit that holds all ya bits in. It was something that I longed for, but could never justify paying £75 for something that I'd rarely wear.0 -
I think ensuring chimps might be DYAC's version of entering comps......
