Guess who has been up all night? I feel sad and I have no idea why...

I used my time to think however and I wanted to throw out some possible topics that I am likely to post about in advance to check whether they are penguins or anyone minds me posting about them? The reason why is because if I am in bad situation alone at night like I was a few weeks ago I would still like to be able to post quickly at the time if I have no one else to talk to, but I don't want to trigger anyone. I will post any crisis in a white font but I might not be able to hang on for the hour for people to get back to me about whether I can or not, plus no one would be here at 3am anyway so I am asking in advance.

So does anyone feel a penguin is needed for the following topics?

Voices (I would automatically penguin anything I record that they say)
Other worlds (I will leave out anything violent in descriptions as I have been doing anyway)
Referring to self -harm without details (As in "I self-harmed" and that's all )
Descriptions of feeling panic and fear (Such as I am having an anxiety attack, I am shaking, etc)
Fear of illness (Liver failure, for example which I DON'T have)

I didn't include abuse because there are enough posts already on this thread detailing the types of abuse that I suffered which people can reference if they wish, so I don't think I have to be more specific other than to use the word 'abuse' and nothing more now.

That's me just about covered on the possible 3am-in-a-panic penguin front! I am probably being overcautious but I don't want to upset anyone if I post while psychotic, last time it was writing everything here that held me together and I would really love to feel that I can still do that.

Morning all. My quick penn'orth - WaS started this thread and posted what she needed to from the beginning. This straightforwardness and openness is what has helped so many people. So, deep breath here, I don't think WaS should be subject to the same inhibitions as everyone else. I think she should be able to post whatever and whenever she feels the need, in whatever colour she wishes. Otherwise, I feel the benefits that many have gained from her insights may be diluted. Those on here who can relate on a personal level have chosen to join because of feeling of connection with WaS. She is so concerned about helping people that I fear her trying to filter out any damaging bits may actually mean less good is done.
There are so many taboos about MH issues, here at last is a place where someone with a unique insight into her own condition is showing it like it really is, hugely increasing understanding of others with and without conditions of their own. Phrases like "I didn't know anyone else has experienced that" "I thought everyone felt like that" pepper this thread and WaS has set something amazing in motion.
Please let's not put a penguin shaped gag in this wonderful person's mouth!

I think the hour to let people get back is less essential if things are posted in white (which I still think is a brilliant idea. Why didn't I think of that? - as I was conscious that it's all too difficult to ignore things which are on the page. In fact, I think it would be a pretty good idea if people had the time if they went back over past posts - maybe just over the past few days - and 'whited' things, so that anyone catching up or new users browsing got penguin alerts!)

Sooo sorry you have been up all night ((((())))) Hopefully you will never need the 3am-in-a-panic penguin, but it's good to know the tools are there if you did... x

Just seen solar's post. Yes, I don't think WaS should hold anything back, but white might be good. I'm very conscious of dibuzz's helpful post saying she'd avoided reading for a few days - it would be great if people could continue reading for support but without danger of accidental triggers, so if WaS continues to enjoy playing with colours then we could maybe use the white writing.....
