Next step Boxes of Untold Mystery lurking under the bed! They haven't been unpacked since we moved here 6 and a half years ago so in theory there should be very little that I want to keep. If I do find useful things I have room in the CoD. I honestly can't even think of what could be in them so why are there are 5 of them?
Hip hip hooray! Very well done.
The boxes should be interesting! It may spur someone else on to tackle a dusty corner.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Hahahaha! sorry about your poor knee and finger but children so love it when adults play, the little boy I used to look after used to be bent over double laughing at me. It was how I got him used to being around other children playing, at first it was far too much sensory overload for him and he would curl up on the ground and hide his face.
Did you see the CoD is done, whitewing? I did it! I am rather excited!
Yay you did! The boxes are honestly like a lucky dip, they could contain anything.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

When are you next seeing your psychiatrist? Do you think the change in you will be noticeable to him?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

In 2 weeks time and I do think so! WaSp said the other day that I seem happy these days, even he has noticed that I seem more positive. It is all thanks to this thread and everyone on it, it has given me a lot more confidence to know that people believe in me.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Have fun, LIR! You never know what you might find, I still can;t work out how I can have 5 boxes taped on top because they are so bursting and have absolutely no idea of the contents. I obviously haven't missed it!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

You're not brave enough to give WaSp one of the boxes to look through and decide by himself?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Oooh, that's a thought, whitewing! I am brave enough and I shall do it! No matter how much I panic about throwing things away from them if I haven't needed it for 6 and half years the chances are that I don't need it. My passport might even turn up. Receipts for a long of junk in dh's hoard and his families, This is partly because lots of them have been self employed, ( but disorganised) but also because where he spent a lot of his life its illegal not to take and keep receipts, So his habit is to keep them. We actually have boxes and boxes of receipts. When we sorted out his mothers stuff ( many years after she died) there were boxes and boxes of them.
We do actually have a drawer of receipts for our business, Which reminds me....they need sorting, because its end of our tax year soon, gulp.0
