A super moon! As well as looking for the International Space Station! Hope it's a clear night!

Talking of dreams, the other night I had a very vivid taste dream. I was eating pine and pumpkin seeds in the dream, and could really, really taste them!
    Don't often get those!

How do you know if you've seen the space station? I'd probably think it was just another star in my ignorance. Clear sky here at the moment which is a huge change from this morning's downpours.

"To see it face south and look up at the sky about 60 degrees above the horizon. The space station should go from West to East across the sky. A steady white light."

Given that it'll probably take me a lot longer than my allotted 2 mins to work out where south is, and 60 degrees from that I think I'd better go out a bit early. Possibly onto the nearest car park so I don't get mistaken for a peeping tom by the neighbours. The binoculars are for bird watching, honest your honour.

No, it's just what the neighbours at the back already think. I bird watch out of my back bedroom window when I'm putting off the work I should be doing and to the houses backing on to me it must look as if I'm spying on them.

Yes, the houses at the back of me are quite close, and I do worry about what they might think when I'm staring up, apparently at their bedroom windows, with or without bins, whereas in actual fact, I'm looking at the bird on their roof!

Thank you for your post yesterday WaS :o sorry i didn't come back on

Had a bit of a turbulent night and didn't feel much better today. Ended up having a panic attack at work and felt so bad as the area manager was there  though she did go and get me a paper bag and some water :o

I hate people seeing that side of me. I think i've tried to hide my um, mental side for so long (i've had it since i was 11 and i'm nearly 28 now) that i just hate people seeing me when i feel vulnerable. Thankfully after i had had a bit of time to calm down (started trying to visualize oceans and thunderstorms!) i felt okay enough to start my shift.

The next few days are going to be a bit rocky but i'm trying to hold it together :)

Elsien, do you remember which side of your house the sun is first thing in the morning? And which side it is at sunset? Well, if you stand with 'the morning' on your left, and the sunset side on your right, then South is straight ahead. But it'll start coming over from your right. 60 degrees up is quite high, but not so high that you have to really crane your neck. Hope that helps.
