It's raining really badly here and completely grey. Anybody who is still in bed, I am very jealous. I want to be under a duvet reading. I want my time off to start now!

Apparently, there'll be a new pound coin in 2017 which will look a bit like the thruppenny bit.
The shape makes it extremely difficult to forge.

    It might be like this:-

I was once given a sixpence cut in half & said "Oh, a thrupenny bit!".
I still have it, & it was legal tender at the time.

BTW, bit random, does anyone know if I can freeze tinned marrowfat peas?

I freeze left over tinned sweet corn and that works so don't see why not.
  • I have a lot of psychosis and depression today, don't worry I will be fine, it is just biochemical. I will try and post later.
