Yes, I got the laptop back.

I have 2 jobs that I am putting off doing. 1 involves a phone call. The other is some legal paperwork, The latter is not anything bad - the only thing bad about it is that I didn't deal with it straight away and then I haven't opened the envelope when they have chased me up. It is sitting on my desk now. Such a silly thing to put off doing something as it blocks other things too. It is one of those jobs that I feel I must do before I do certain other less important things. So they don't get done either. I now feel sick and my limbs are feeling heavy.

I know exactly how you feel, I put things off because I can't face them and hate using the phone.

I have opened and looked at both envelopes, so now all I need to do is pay some money and post them back. It's not so difficult really. But I was concentrating so hard on it that I nearly had heart failure when someone walked up unnoticed by me and spoke to me.

    My arms are heavy.

BTW dibuzz, I had a cool shower last night before I went to bed and that helped. I am still on a sleep deficit this week though.

Talking about putting things off - I am supposed to be doing a piece of work with a colleague from another organisation, whose name I had forgotten. I had NO IDEA how to contact them, and have been worrying a lot in the last couple of days about how to solve this.

This morning I had despairingly allocated a block of time to try to solve this problem. It occurred to me to look in the (rather unsafe) pocket in my diary where I keep business cards, and there, beaming at me innocently, were the very contact details I needed :)

HOW MUCH time and energy have I wasted worrying about this? Ooops...... :o

1 put off task done in a few minutes and it really was not at all bad.

But I am still putting off the other one. How ridiculous.

Step away from the whip cupboard. I made 2 phonecalls and both mobiles are switched off even though they knew I would be calling. I will catch up with them both later but I don't feel nearly so worried.

I will reward myself later by taking my break out in the sunshine to get some vitamin D made.

LOL - that worked well - not. It's meant to be a line of applause - sometimes these smilies kick in a while after you post them.

  • Good Afternoon! I think? I feel like I slept for about 30 minutes but it was 9 hours! Also, and you may laugh- I woke up on the bedroom floor rolled up in the duvet like a sleeping bag! No bumps and bruises so I didn't fall out, I just seem to have got out of bed and wrapped myself up! When I got up (off the floor!) I asked my partner why he didn't have his morning nap, he had been to bed and got up again and I had no idea. Who stole my 9 hours?!

Coffee, then I will catch up.
