Those wreaths are beautiful! I may have to treat myself and adjust the budget a little!
You are both right, I have an illness. Sometimes I lose sight of that and look on it as me choosing to make a mess of things. For years psychiatrists have repeated to me that I am ill, not to be morbid in my case but to remind me to stop blaming myself for the symptoms. I just feel that I have an advantage over others with schizophrenia and should be doing much better but then it is biochemical and I can't be responsible for that. I don't beat myself up for having Lupus and accept it's out of my hands. I need to do the same with this.
My skin has stopped crawling and my breathing is better so I will now do the yogic exercise. Thank you so much for being here for me.
PS. I have left the bathroom! I locked myself in there with the laptop because it was the only room without plug sockets and electronics. Things are improving!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Blaming yourself is like a doctor blaming himself for his child having asthma, there is just no logic to it

Thank you, dibuzz. That is a really good analogy. Just because I happen to have trained in mental illness doesn't mean I should be immune to it or be able to cure myself of it. I am going to remember that one!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Haha we are now brandishing whips as well as sleeping with psychiatrists?!! Wonder what is next! Btw no one noticed my joke earlier and I was rather proud of that one! It was obviously only funny to me lol lol lol lol (rashes and physiatrists!)

Why don't you write it down or print it out to go with the other bits you read for comfort? I agree it is a very good analogy.Make £10 a day challenge November £125.60/310

Oooops, which joke did I miss?
I was actually wondering if any of our little group was an artist. Some of the posts (bunnies building sandcastles, the heaven face on your dog haybel - which I can visualise soooooo well! - even a cartoon of the *whisper* radio waves might make it funny.... Wouldn't they be wonderful in the published edition of 'WaS and the Cupboard of Doom' ?Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Oops! missed that, haybel! The rash could match the redness of my face when I tried to look at him!
We would have some amazing pictures if someone could draw them! I can't draw at all but I would love it if someone else could give it a try.
I feel a lot better now, pugliet is sitting by my side and protecting me. Now if I can stop shaking it is almost business as usual!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Blue light, sea waves and big hugs WaS. Well done on being kind to yourself and hope the yogic meditation helps too. Dibuzz hit the nail on the head.
Whip brandishing, rash inducing sex with psychiatrists
That would be an awesome picture, I have no drawing skills at all so can't help with that one.0 -
Hello oldestgnome! The yogic exercise really did help. I feel protected now! I need to do that one more often.
I am in hysterics imagining the psychiatrist sketch. At this rate I am never going to look at one again without fits of giggles!
Now I feel really silly about earlier. This always happens, something triggers me and I panic and then later I think oh, you idiot, what on earth were you thinking? But that is not being nice to myself which I need to be as JM is armed and dangerous with a whip!
Sorry to take up the day talking about me, everyone. How is everyone else doing? I feel selfish now (put the whip down, JM!).
