    Your MIL.

WaS, it may be worth printing out this telephone number for your MIL and encouraging her to call that as back up - it's a freephone number http://www.thesilverline.org.uk/

She can phone them for a chat anytime or when she needs specific advice. For example, they may have been able to sort out the TV thing with her.

Sorry I've been away so much today - we've had our AGM at work, which was quite 'interesting'. I can't go into too much detail on a public board........ :D

Anyway, I come with GOOD NEWS! DH has done his research and found a bargain!

WaS I have been thinking of your cupboard of doom... and wondered if you had thought of taking picture of the cupboard as it is now... so that when you have finished your cupboard (and I really believe you will) you can look back and see just how far you have come and how well you have done. Evidence if you like. Perhaps the others who are also de-cluttering might like to do the same? It would be lovely to look back and see what you have achieved.

I am starting to wish that I was not so ruthless and had my own cupboard of doom so I can join in lol. I love to declutter so its just that I would love to get my hands on everyone's cupboards lol lol lol

I don't know about a cupboard of doom, I seem to have a house of doom.
Haybel, I will be expecting you tomorrow to sort it out for me :)

elsien, I'm sorry that I didn't send my best wishes to you earlier. A life changing time for you. I have been made redundant twice and it is a sad but it is also a teensy bit exciting.

Gosh, yes, may I add my hugs and best wishes to this? And also I wanted to say, elsien, that you may have lurked for a while, but I was delighted to see you join this thread as I recognised you as a really helpful and constructive poster from other threads and boards :) Pile into us as much as you like! x

I think I spent months lurking, then got brave enough to venture into pets and competitions, but it took years before I got the bottle to say anything in the Arms or Discussion time. They're a bit robust in there, to say the least.
Depends on which thread you're on. Some of the regulars are lovely, kind people! Try the Goodnight thread, the Good Morning thread, or the Three Word Thread. I post on there a lot these days!
How could I forget?! Sleeping with my psychiatrist is the best bit! I don't have to look at him, do I?

It's just as well your other half doesn't read this thread!
What a wonderful idea to take their beds with them! I used to have travelling hamsters!!
Travelling hamsters! Did they have their own little caravans? :rotfl:
Or perhaps they had their own little suitcases and passports? :rotfl:

She'll probably find them in the Cupboard of Doom.

I know it's easy for me to say, but it sometimes is a case of one door closing and another door opening. The latter might not happen straight away, but something will turn up that you couldn't have done but for being made redundant.
It is sad about leaving the people, though, and must be really dreadful for them.:( I hope they all find nice homes.
