it has really cheered me up!

I do love an animal print.... it's a struggle finding something in my house that doesn't have a fox on it :)

MU, ex is history. You're a different stronger person now. Try to remind yourself that the feelings that came back were the ones you used to have which are no longer relevant. The new you goes pfft and moved on as if from a bad smell.

I've just missed my train. This is because I walked halfway to the station, realised I'd forgotten a bag, went home to fetch it, then discovered it had been hanging over my shoulder all along. I tell myself it's because my mind is clearly on a higher plane and can't be bothered with the trivia of daily life.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I just need to make my bed and get through the day with the builders here staying awake. :)

I don't want to get in their way but I'm depressed at the state of the house with me in bed for two days. If we had kids I could understand it, but we don't :(. While my parent was Very kind to step on and do the animals for two days I do somewhat feel they have lived like an animal. Having been so I'll for two days dealing with left over food and discarded wine bottles is not pleasant :(. Even just leaving every book they've looked at out for me to put back. The dog toys are everywhere and today I cannot bend to chuck them in to the play box or the dog beds ( something just really just takes a few minutes at the end of a day) so they lay abandoned all over the floor as if we did infact have a messy child.

None of the clearing of areas that needed to be done for the builder has been done, though the builder knew I was unwell and said he'll do it I feel annoyed that my parent ( who lives here ) made no effort with even the light and easy things.

Edit. I generally like to count my blessings. I would have been in trouble without my resident parent here for the animals and I AM grateful for that. But I just feel swamped today.

    Thanks Pyxis.

The builder came and sent men to bed, so now the dogs and cats and I are all heaped in bed. The window is open even though its chilly, as I need fresh air, and he is doing dusty work and despite his best effort at dust seals I can feel it ( no complaints, its inevitable!)

But we're warm on a huddle.

You're right, i found the strength to go on after he hurt me and we split. I can find the strength not to let him bother me now. :)

I forget things all the time. I've lost count of how many times i have frantically searched my for glasses only to realise they were on my face the whole time :o
