You can have a whisky sauce with it. But we did the low maintenance version. I can't have whisky anyway as alcohol is banned with my meds.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

But VERY, VERY, VERY, rarely a girl chicken can turn into a boy. ( tbc I don't really think that's happened here! )
It usually happens when there are no other boys about ( I have loads of boys so that's not the case here. They become male looking...get tail feathers and combs and crow like boys and stuff, but are infertile.
Its exceptionally rare though, so I doubt I have a rash of it;). I'm just really surprised. The only birds I find hard to sex after they are wee is silkies. So not sure what happened here, maybe the boys kept hiding at the back?
We have a broody I girl already this year, I must remember to whip any eggs she has found away from here tomorrow morning.
Ah I see they were always boys but you have only just realised, I did wonder :rotfl: I can see how it happened I suppose they all look the same as chicks and if you have lots you have sexed the same females over and over again missing the boys.
Interesting that it can happen I never knew that.
I would love to keep chickens but my garden isn't suitable.0 -

So e chickens are autosexing......which means the boys are different looking from the girls.
If I were starting from scratch and less interested in different birds I might get just one breed of autosexing birds and save myself a lot of hassle each year..
