  • Thank you, melly! I cant wait to start, I do need to get myself to the doctors next week for a tetanus, though for my own sake and for their insurance. This is my favourite thread, too!

Hello tuna! I have lots of photo's, a calender is a great idea! I am going to attempt to put some photo's on here today and then very likely do it wrong and go and hide under the duvet for a while.

WaS I'm so excited for your new venture! No need to worry, as you can go as and when you wish! It's ideal!

Hahahaha! You must write a blog now!

A tetanus jab is very wise. I have mine kept up to date just because of gardening, and more so when I had pets.

    I love

  • A thread calendar is a lovely idea! I can supply the animals, at this rate I'll have hundreds of photo's!

I have to have the tetanus for the farms insurance, plus it should keep me safe, too. I still can;t quite believe this is happening, it wasn't my intention at all when I asked to visit!

    But minus the smugness
  • Hahahahaha! Yes! no smugness! I do like the fact that I don;t have to turn up regularly, that takes a lot of pressure off of me. Mind you, animal cuddles weekly sounds perfect and I really would like to learn more about how a farm works.

Well done melly, that all sounds like a good plan!

Kevin is going to end up your best friend and you get to hug and care for lots of different animals
  • Kevin is! the other 5 placements are all to men so the owner said it would be ideal for him if I wanted to spend an hour working with him on a one to one because he gets so little attention (his own fault). She did say they can give me a fold up chair for when I need to sit down and they will put us in a field on our own so that he gets some one to one attention. It's almost like having a pet llama!
