:rotfl: that's hilarious! We'd be so bored without them!
I'm sure they get dizzier in the mid teens! My older two are 15 and 16 and I miss the days of the innocence! It's as if they learn more but it all gets tangled in their minds. DD1 (16) confused hibernation a few months back thinking it was when bears eat in winter (?) and ran into the lounge in a panic about a giant bee/fly/butterfly mutant hybrid in the kitchen - a moth. She wants to be a vet!

i got a letter from hfx accepting my dmp er again. dated 26.06.14 now doesnt say whether interest has been frozen or not but the figure on the letter was Junes payment with NO interest. At the very least its pushed me into my 20's at last:T
The no interest on the statement sounds promising and brilliant news on getting into the £20Ks :T
Mr TTFTM has been paid for first lot of exam marking today so debt has taken another dive, mortgage account is showing as zero and there is a bottle of Christmas left overs sparkling wine in the fridge for tonight
Thanks everyone for the lovely comments, I really could not have done any of it without this thread and its predecessors. When I came here in utter desperation in January 2012, I did not even know what a DMP was, I lurked and read and then dared to post:Hello everyone
I have just spent the last couple of hours reading through the posts on this thread and terrifying myself and cheering myself up in pretty equal parts.
My OH and I are about to start a CCCS DMP but are waiting for our new Co-Op bank account to be set up before we can submit all the paperwork and cancel/reset up DDs etc. We have managed to get ourselves into about £81000 worth of debt and it's most definitely time to face the music.
From reading this thread, it seems some people advise starting to pay token amounts before the DMP comes into place, therefore allowing them to put a bit of money aside for emergencies when in the DMP. Have I got this correct? If so, do I just pay this in the normal way, direct bank transfer in my case, and let the creditors know the reason why?
I currently bank with Lloyds TSB and also have an overdraft and huge credit card bill with them, though I did actually cancel the credit card some time ago and have just been paying it off but not making much impact. Am rather concerned about some of the negative stuff I have read here about Lloyds, are they really that bad?
I have dozens of other questions too but will keep this relatively short so as not to bore everyone silly. Just wanted to finish by saying that the help, support and camaraderie I have seen here is what encouraged me to post, I would normally just lurk and read and worry even more.
Thanks for your help :T
The rest as they say is history.

Great news TTFTM... you continue to be an inspiration to me, you and your twin. Both of you and others helped me so much through the early days. No judgement, just sound advice and it made the whole experience bearable. One year on I feel like a completely different person - in control of my debts and able to deal with creditors with confidence.
My good news is that a letter dropped into my letterbox today and.... Halifax have finally defaulted me :j:j:j I guess that means I can expect to get a letter from their DCA in the next few days and I'll be checking to ensure they backdate the D marker to the beginning.

I have downloaded myself an app tonight called debt manager, it has all of our debts listed and the amount per month that payplan have offered to each debt the each month it automatically updates with the new balance and I can add any extra payments in, it also gives you a debt free date which adjusts according to payments . I am pretty chuffed to be honest..small things and all that0
