Important: TSB Classic Plus Account - Paperless Correspondence now live !!

I wrote earlierAnother note it seems that the passwords are not case sensitive. They really ought to be and allow non alpha characters for improved security. I'm going to send TSB a message and will post the response.
TSB returned my contact with them yesterday, fairly promptly, and I had a chat to explain the 'lowish' password strength. It will be referred on to their experts and I will get a response. Good on TSB for taking the comment on board - I wait to see if they will change anything, and then post again.0 -
a very sneaky and underhand thing to slip in, a simple email notifying this had gone live would of been welcomed, I expect every complaint to be upheld should people not knowing they had to upgrade to paperless correspondence loose interest on the classic plus.0

No reason to uphold any complaints. The T&Cs always clearly stated that you have to have communication set to paperless [when available], and the T&Cs didn't say that they will notify people when there are changes to their website.
I do agree, though, that it would be good customer service if they did notify people of this particular website change, and for all we know, they might still do so.0 -
that's just the thing "when available" now it is "available" a letter or email should of been sent - lets hope this happens.0

Should have. Not should of.
Would have. Not would of.0 -
Since this requirement has always been in the Ts&Cs, it occurs to me that a little forethought by TSB might have provided the option to select "paperless correspondence when available" to save all this time wasting.. . . I do agree, though, that it would be good customer service if they did notify people of this particular website change, and for all we know, they might still do so.

It will be interesting to hear the outcome.butterfly )i(0 -
I think all the Lloyds banking group use the same log-in procedure with lower case characters and numbers but there is the additional layer, requiring 3 characters from "memorable information". I doubt that TSB will change anything until they are floated as an independent bank.

Haven't noticed any messages on TSB website yet, and not sure if anyone has had email/snail mail about 'paperless correspondence' now being 'live', so bumping the thread as a reminder to folks who might so far have missed seeing this, and who need to take action to ensure they don't miss out on their interest.butterfly )i(0

Question:
Has anyone any idea of how long it took for TSB to send out the docs needed to login by snail mail?
Opened one a/c by post & one on line- debit cards, pin numbers, security number for telephone banking have all appeared ... but no login details & number. Until then of course can't go paperless, paperless statements or anything else!!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
