Halifax £100 Incentive problems

Looks like I'm not alone - I also opened a Halifax High Interest Current Account in March and used the switching service to transfer all my DDs, SO's and (!) salary.
All of these are now set up and I have deposited £1,000 in March, April, May and June but no sign of the £100.
Every Monday for the last 4 weeks I have called their customer "service" line. Each time the person on the line agrees with me that the £100 should have been paid by now and they email the "switching team" to chase the matter up. "The money will be in my account in the next few days"
Silly thing is it's actually quite a good account paying 6% so I don't need to worry about having too much in there. Would just be nice if they kept their side of the bargain.
Has anyone had the £100?!

You've got me worried now.....but did you use their switching service? This is the bit that currently qualifies for the incentive. The £1000 per month is for the interest rate, I thought.0

It took me ages to set up this account. I had endless problems with the transfers but did get my £100 on time. Infact they gave me £200 by mistake!! :T
I wouldn't recommend this account on account of the hassles.
I hope you sort it out!£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190 -
i've just opended this account so my £100 wont be due for a litlte while yet anyway, but interestingly they opended 2 of these accounts for me!!!!!!
talk about incompetent, surely that shouldn't be able to happen?!?
anyway not my problem so i'm going to try and use it to my advantage and get £100 for each account!!!0 -
it will only be paid once
did you open it online?0 -
Hi,
Anybody out there got any ideas how I should proceed with this?
with regards to silver scooby's advice I would advise you firstly not to ring the 0845 numbers for obvious reasons.
I dont bother anymore going to the customer service lines. Go straight to the top,
If you would like the Chief Executives e-mail address then please ask and I will provide it. It will be passed on to a senior member of staff within the customer relations department.
This is much more efficient than just ringing up the normal numbers, which, as you know are rubbish
Let me know!INCREASE INTEREST ON SAVINGS!
...I will thank you if youve been helpful, please do the same! :j0 -
wayoflife how do you know every CEO's email address? are you a serial complainer?
I saw you say the same on another thread for a different bank0 -

Not really - why does everything complaint need to go straight to the CEO, thats why there are complaint departments in firms. The CEO can't deal with all and will only pass them back
I was more commenting on why wayoflife was asking people to contact him/her as they had all the email addresses, and I wondered why0 -

The CEO can't deal with all and will only pass them back.Quite possibly, but usually a positive outcome is reached....again in my experience

So what. That's his/her business. Why knock someone for being helpful?
