Had a bit of a shock today. Firstly I saw a photo of me from my daughters school event. Let's just say I don't look as good as I thought I did !
So I weighed myself and discovered I had put on a few pounds ( TBH I already knew that but the scales confirmed it). So I have decided to do something about it before I end up obese again. That is not an option, as far as I'm concerned.
My initial target is 11 pounds, which will take me back to what I was 2 years ago when I first lost weight. After that I will see.
Have eaten good food all day, I just have to get through the evening which is my worst time for snacking.
On the plus side I swam 100 lengths (2.5 KMS) today, so pleased with that. I'm feeling a tiny bit achy, so I know my body worked hard.

JBD- evenings are my worst time for snacking too. I can be good all day but as soon as the clock strikes about 8pm ish, I get really bad cravings for sweet stuff.

Well done for your 2.5k swimming! I love that achy feeling after you have done exercise!

Sorry for the late reply, I was indeed at the gym! I managed to run 2.5km on the treadmill in 20 mins (had a 5 min walk in between) so pretty pleased with that! Puts me on course to run my 5k in 40 mins :)

If this is for a race, your time might be quicker. I find mine generally is if I'm racing, rather than just running.

Got the bike out today and cycled just short of 12 mile, it was like a mud bath!

Yay, well done (I tried to insert some clappy emoticons, but they aren't working for me)!! That's a great time too!

So, when are you going next? :D

Today is a rest/cross train day on my timetable. I'm thinking of checking out my local leisure centre for some swimming (don't have a pool at my gym sadly :() I think it's £4 per session for adults. I also need to buy a new water bottle as I cleverly dropped mine on the way home from the gym and it smashed!

Feeling pleased with myself this morning!

Its rest day today, so no gym and no swimming either.

Bunnie- let me know how you get on with swimming. I keep on wanting to go, but it starts so early in the morning!

fin- well done! That's great. I am rubbish at cycling, and too scared to cycle on the roads around here.

    Have a great day everyone!
