I must say you have convinced me that chickens would be an excellent idea! Although we currently live in a terrace so might have to wait until we get our forever home :rotfl:1

The ducks and the chickens are fun to watch and don't take much looking after but can be quite noisy so not ideal for a terrace unless you have understanding neighbours
Half a dozen duck eggs sold at work yesterday and half a dozen sold at gate today = £2.90 for the fund.
Bought a load of ply board at the weekend to board out the loft in the garage and several pieces were damaged so were discounted - however they discounted them from the original price whereas we had already got a discount for buying more than 10 so were even cheaper than they intended
Got a huuugge credit card bill building for next month so trying to avoid spending from now until 3rd May when the next statement is due
My RAC renewal has not been redirected from old address and has auto-renewed at £120. Will speak to OH tonight about whether we want to change and then give them a call tomorrow.
Payday on Friday :T1 -
Love the idea off selling eggs.....any chance of a golden one!!!!! Thanks Sque, will take a while but hopefully we will soon start to see some progress
Another £7.20 cashback confirmed so set up OP for tomorrow.
£40 left in current account so that will go across to offset tomorrow once I get paid.
Got our new salary packages earlier this week and no payrise - have met with my director today and negotiated a small payrise plus a more beneficial split of my bonus so that it is more achieveable. Can't believe how much I have changed as I never would have done that a few years ago :T
Sold half a dozen hens eggs today and another half dozen tomorrow - £2.60 for the pot
OH has gone to get a couple of beers - the ducks are paying for them :beer:0 -
I knew those ducks would come in useful for more than just eggs one day...
.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

They've always been too tight to buy a round before - always ducked it
Productive day - now that I've got a working hob been batch cooking so got veg chilli, chilli and cottage pie for freezer plus bolognaise for lasagne tonight.
Got the mother of all veg boxes (half price) delivered yesterday so have blanched and frozen the swede and used up some carrots, courgettes and pepper.
OH was not impressed by how much I ordered so need to make sure it all gets used and nothing goes to waste
Half a dozen eggs sold at gate for £1.30.1
