Given that the majority are not Cultured, Educated and Young, do you want a government system (like say the EU) that ignores the views of the majority?

Jeeez Clapton, would you let the toddlers dictate how to run the nursery as well?

After all, they are the majority in there.....

I cannot think of a party in recent times that has gained power with more than 50% of the vote in the UK. This argument about 'the majority' seems rather pointless as a result.

Whether they are cultured and educated or not the young are more impressionable and susceptible to peer pressure. UKIP simply isn't "cool".

    I'm in my 40's.

Do you think I'm more interested in a party that is "cool", or a party that is "credible"?

What" heartache and pain" !!!!!!? Seriously?

is Susan Evans some-one you look up to as a source of all wisdom about UK resident people?

do you believe everything she says?

36% London voter are foreigners : and the next generation down does rather make London fairly unique.

We need to consider the majority of people whether you like them or not : you're a bit like UKIP is many ways aren't you?

    We shouldn't pander to anybody.

This is democracy at work. A lot of what you and Hamish are stating are not issues with UKIP....they are issues with democracy itself and the fact it's not moving in a direction of your liking.

Are you going to respond to the tax issue then?

as I've already said, a spoof of why people vote UKIP would include many of your posts; I'll add that to the list

If a candidate like this guy.....
Ukip has selected Roger Helmer as parliamentary candidate to fight the Newark byelection, despite him arguing date rape victims can bear some responsibility for being assaulted, coming out in favour of the death penalty and comparing gay marriage to allowing incest.

...... was elected by the 'homeowners price inflation party' with a mandate to double house prices within 5 years, would you still be so assertive in defending him and his party?
