Theft, gross misconduct, dismissal.
Would be normal findings and outcome.0 -
Been checking on this thread every day hoping the culprit would be found. Hope they deal with her properly.True MSE'r -Money Spending Expert0

Pardon the pun, but she really must be a sandwich short of a picnic to think she wouldn't get caught. I was wondering why on earth she would do such a thing, but I think liney has nailed it....what an evil thing to do.
Keep us update so what happens Yvonne.0 -
Is this some silly wet-behind-the-ears fresh out of college girl, or a more mature person. Because if she's the former then you could argue that it was just a silly prank for which she didn't fully understand the consequences, and should perhaps be given a second chance.
Some people don't realise that in the "adult" world things like this get treated far more seriously than a stint on the naughty step, or spending your lunchtime in detention.0 -

Whilst I can understand your reasoning in principle, deliberately making a false report about someone which could get them the sack, and then repeatedly victimising someone, and theft, is hardly a silly prank. Perhaps pinching their yoghurt once might have been a silly prank, but this was far too systematic and targeted to be that.0 -
You need to work out the cost of what's been taken & get her to reimburse you before she's booted out.0

So glad it's on the way to being sorted, but I agree with the others that you need to be kept up to date with what is happening, plus I think she should have to reimburse you for all the stolen goods, plus go for extra for the stress she has caused you.
Goodluck, and enjoy your lunch tomorrow hun x0 -
I've been keeping up to date with this thread and I'm pleased to hear the outcome Yvonne. Maybe your boss can keep you up to date with the outcome of the disciplinary if HR don't. But if she's dismissed then I'm sure you'll know about it anyway.
Well done for keeping so strong, it can't have been easy.0 -
Glad it's being sorted now, must be a weight off your mind. Hopefully HR will do their job and make it very difficult for the twisted ***** to get another job and another opportunity to act like this in another workplace.0

Has she been sacked or not?
Theft in our place would be suspension investigation then sacked if you were stealing. As it wasn't just a sneaky choc -which I know is wrong before I get shouted - I mean it was constant and targeted plus the alcohol to hr lie. It's too personal I'd be really uncomfortable.
Plus her lies about not wanting to cover your job is well weird.
Glad it's sorted never imagined this thread would go on so long or end like it did. Good on you never an easy one to challenge as the onus is on you to solve I've found. Will you be reimbursed for all the lunches you brought?0
