Good, what a horrible person to target you like that. I am glad she has been caught. Was your manager there at the point of discovery? What is the company doing about it? Hopefully she will leave the company, either through choice or by being terminated.

Yes my boss was having a smoke break yesterday afternoon at the same time as the girl when she opened the pringles and the music came on. It was only today at 10am when I was telling HR and my boss the full story that he realised it was her. They went straight to the first floor where she works and did a draw check and found everything.

She couldn't explain why the pringles had my name and dob wrote in invisable ink at the bottom or why my swipe card hadn't been used to get access the floor where she worked.

So glad it's over. Was she behind the wine debacle too?

    Yes it was her.

I take it you aren't training her up any more. Did you find out why she was doing it?

    You got that right.

Apparently she didn't want to cover my job when I go on annual leave......So she says.

I don't know, they basically told me as I have my stuff back I should leave it with them to follow procedures ect ect....Basically they didn't want me getting the police involved.

Because pinching your lunch would stop you from going on holiday?

Of course attempting to have you dismissed for drinking at work, or have you leave because you feel victimised would leave a spot for someone who is already trained to do your job... nasty piece of work.

I think you need to bargain with your HR that either they keep you informed , or you will be getting the Police involved.

Do you know what their procedures are? We have a behaviour policy which would cover theft (from business and from colleagues).
