Do you know what their procedures are? We have a behaviour policy which would cover theft (from business and from colleagues).
I don't know, What are your procedures if you don't mind me asking? It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
I don't know, they basically told me as I have my stuff back I should leave it with them to follow procedures ect ect....Basically they didn't want me getting the police involved.
I would insist on being kept updated of the outcome.
You need to know this has been dealt with & that she isn't playing nasty tricks with others.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
I agree with liney - if you had left the company either through dismissal or stress through her bullying your space would have opened up perfect for her to swoop in already trained.
What a sick twisted individual.
Glad its over for you Yvonne :-)MFW

Because pinching your lunch would stop you from going on holiday?
Of course attempting have you dismissed for drinking at work, or have you leave because you feel victimised would leave a spot for someone who is already trained to do your job... nasty piece of work.
This didn't even cross my mind but now you've said it I can see it now. Some people are sick. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
Glad it has been resolved, sounds like she is a Grade A nutcase.
HR should throw the book at her, I know if I had someone like that working for me they'd be out faster than you can say "who stole my sandwich".0 -
I'd imagine HR would be looking at investigating her for gross misconduct at the very least.
I hope you enjoy your lunch in peace tomorrow OP.

Can't check exactly what my place says until I'm back tomorrow but given that we are government funded, I'd expect it to say suspension whilst the crime is investigated and probably dismissal for gross misconduct.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
