    Smelly people.

And people with arthritis who may struggle to stand for along period in a shower.

And people who read the first bit of threads, but can't be bothered to read it all before replying with their pearls of wisdom, so miss the fact that the bath issue has been done and dusted for some time now.

But TR, NaskoZmeq has no time to read threads.

At a posting rate of fifty posts in her first hour as a member of MSE, it is surprising she even manages to read the titles. ;)

As the other poster says, this is just a scam. The Teletext rep obviously has read the thread but can't comment on it being a scam/shoddy sales tactics.
Many more people will now avoid teletext. Silly company.

They advertise their holidays at below net cost - they don't exist. They have to make the money somewhere else would be selling at a loss and go bankrupt. These are just some of the tactics they use, like charging £20 more than the airline for luggage.

I know as I used to work for a travel agent selling teletext holidays!!

    Icelolly are exactly the same.

I'm just surprised that with the wide range of choices on the internet that anyone still uses teletext!

Not true as I have voicemail and also call history.
I have now started further action.

Double check you emailed them the correct phone number?

They called me the day after and they are"investigating".
    :rotfl::rotfl:
Needless to say no more from them.
Further action has been taken but not by Teletext.
They will not get away with this fraud.

As Teletext did not list the charge separately on the invoice (£80 for a "Bronze Room" that did not exist), Mastercard have advised me to obtain written confirmation from the Hotel that they have no idea what a "Bronze Room is and that all rooms are identical.
Needless to say Teletext have not called me.
